Matt Warrington There’s plenty of recording artists who’ve sampled beats from older songs and changed them up a bit to make new hits. In fact most have done it on one song or another including Jay Z with his major hit “Hard Knock Life.” Which everyone knows samples music and lyrics from the theme song of the hit show/musical Annie. Plus Will Smith has plenty of songs that were well known hits that didn’t sample anyone else’s music. Why is it that anytime someone says something positive about someone doing the right thing, there’s always someone who has to come in and spew some type of negativity any way they can?

There’s plenty of recording artists who’ve sampled beats from older songs and changed them up a bit to make new hits.
This is certainly one of the most entertaining music videos of all time
"Swallow your pride don't let your lip react, you don't want to see my hand where my hip be at." 😂 That line has never been more prevalent than now.
Now he'll have to re-record this song, and change the lyrics, because all that did was get him in trouble.
I actually wonder if that's why he did it. He remembered those lyrics, and took advantage of them.
It’s about drawing his gun from his holster. How is that relevant today? Has he shot somebody?
@@mattstevens7601 Not the action of him drawing his gun, I said the "line has never been more prevalent." The energy he's putting off from the line and it's delivery not what he is actually doing.
To bad he didn't follow his own advice. He pulled that shit with Chris but not Jada. Jada, the very person who has immaculate his ass fawning all over a deceased man, still...cheating in him with someone his son's age, etc.
Yea that part is the best. He may not "have to curse in his songs" but does imply he will kill you if you don't stop speaking words. 😂 But that's OK. I don't think a kid would know what that line meant at all. I didn't back then. Ha I love how now that I'm grown and rewatching all the movies I watched as a kid with my own kids now, 20 years later, all the very subtle adult jokes make it like watching a whole new movie than the one I saw 100 times as a kid.
Sisqo put on his best Steve wonder impersonator and bodied the hook!! The Celebrity Camoes, set design, the Choreography man I miss fun music videos and the 90s
Say what you will about the film, but this song is an absolute bop
This song should have been the film.
I liked the film
@@Trismegustis It is in the credits .
bop ?
It was a good movie and a great song.
Any movie that Will Smith has been in never disappoints spot on a great actor.
I'd poke holes in it if, for the most part, it wasn't true.
after earth? 👀
@@thomasheap1575Bright????
Not true
Sometimes. Other times, he's good. Of course, there's the Aladdin (2019)s and Shark Tales in there, but also Wild Wild West.
I got mad respect for Will! I first heard him when I was 17 and here it is 35 years later and his name is STILL relevant.
Admirable , although i might not agree with his strategy of smacking comedians at the oscars
@@Nopanop I will agree that slap was COMPLETELY wrong. That night was set up just for him, Williams sister’s introducing Beyoncé who sung a beautiful song from the movie (on Compton tennis court) and he destroyed it.😞. We’ve all made mistakes but unfortunately his was in front of millions
@@christichristi5481a mistake is what you call making coffee instead of tea, idk if you call flat out physical assault a ‘mistake’.. but pop off I guess
@@CNTango calm down, it’s not that serious! It’s a TH-cam comment 🤦🏽♀️
Don't worry about the other comment, my friend always said that it is always Americans still thinking about the slap (and other useless drama) while the world has moved on; most are waiting for his next movie. I have to say he's right, we have bigger problems to worry about. Will still does good, it sucks that one wrong move took that away because folks pay attention to the bad things.
This tune slaps more than Will himself.
😂😂😂
Still disappointed in him for abusing C.R.😮
What I love about Will is while every rapper wanted to prove they're hard in their songs he just did him enjoying himself and music was fun and that is what it's supposed to be.
Yeah. He was an already wealthy guy coming off an extremely successful series of acting gigs. He was doing this for fun. It wasn't life or death for him. I'm not saying he wasn't always passionate about the music, but it's an easy stance to have when you ain't struggling and u aint really from the streets at all.
@@undeadpriesthe didnt even want to act though, he was originally soley dedicated to music, its not totally fair to say he didnt take it seriously.
He proved his palm was hard tho

@@undeadpriest nope he was like this even before the movies.
The choreography in this video was absolutely amazing.

It was great for the movie studios, when they hired Will Smith to star in a film they also got the guy who would perform the theme song.
I don't understand all the hate for this movie, because while it's certainly no classic it was a lot of fun to watch.
Exactly. It’s not supposed to be the serious. It’s just a fun movie. That’s it.
Right!!!
The hate..I remember started from Will playing an originally White character. The hate piled up even more as the remake took a down to earth western and made it a ridiculous fantasy. All that being said, I liked the movie and I like this song.
It was good, but everyone expected it too be good like Independence Day or MIB, films he had done the previous 3 years
Because it's just corny. It also came out at the same time as the Matrix so it didn't stand a chance.
Sisqo 😍😍😍 The way he dances and sings. Then him showing off his abs 🫦
