Still, I'm pretty sure that it'll likely happen, and it doesn't really bother me. Unlike many who hate Cena blindly, refusing to see anything positive about him, I can take a step back from my own personal fandom, and see the bigger picture. Frankly, Cena is probably the most likely, because he's the closest, but like the article said, he's not the only one within striking distance that could have, and would have been more likely to do so.

The WWE is a business first and foremost and would definitely take a huge dip in Merchandise sales to kids if Cena's character changed.

Here's the deal. Cena gets on his knees for McMahon, does a bunch of charity work (which is all kayfabe to me), supports the troops (kayfabe), works hard (kayfabe), so that's why he is where he is. Cena cannot wrestle, he cannot work the mic, he has no wrestling psychology, etc. Whenever he has a match, all of these other wrestlers have to get involved in order to make a good match. If it was simply Cena vs. whomever, it would be a horrible match. Cena sucks, and not liking Cena is not a "fad", it's not being an "internet fan", it's having an opinion, and enjoying real wrestling.
Flair's record should stay intact for at least 2 decades imo. The wrestler to break his record isn't there yet

I think that orton should've been the one to break flairs record. He's the right caliber of a superstar. He has the potential to be like a rock or an Austin. This is only if someone has to break flairs record. Otherwise leave flairs title record untouched.
