Oh my goodness Ryan what an "AWESOME / EPIC / WONDERFUL" episodes this was 👍 I want to thank all 3 of you guys for given us such good content to watch in these difficult times, this is what keeps us going!!! Thanks to your good mates Edward (Edward Barth Adventures) and Chris (Get Out &Go Adventures) YOU GUYS ROCK 👍👍👍🔥⛺🔥🐾
The campsites were a little hit or miss for me aside from Baines that’s spectacular. The trip overall tough was amazing! Great traveling with you gentlemen and another great episode!
Canada here, really enjoying your videos! They're really well filmed, edited and paced. Your reflections are honest and meaningful. We scratched the surface of Botswana last summer but like you say, it gets in your soul! We'd love to come back and be part of this magic again, but until then you're bringing it to us!
Stunning series gents. Loved every minute. Now to go back and watch episode 1 again. It will be my 3rd viewing. Thank you for the share and for the inspiration to get out and venture in our 4x4s.
Thank you Neal. Glad you are enjoying the series and the channel. Appreciate the mind words and your support. CKGR episodes are in the works, so stay tuned. Keep watching and keep well 🤟
Yes, it was a great ending to a great trip, and the Boteti looked nice and green. A major concern, I chose not ot show in the edit, was the number of elephant, zebra and giraffe carcasses, that we presume suffered from the tough drought Botswana was in before the rains. Was great to see how the rains had lifted the spirits of all creatures great and small.
Glad you enjoyed. Feel we need to do a birding safari now with you as birding guide and coffee barista 😂😂😂 thanks for the help with this one and kind words. 🤟
What an amazing insight to the wonders of Botswana! Great video mate and hope to see more of these great episodes in the future! Thank you for always supporting and representing the brand man! You are a legend!👌🏼👏🏼
Hey- we love your videos. It’s a great way to feel like you’re back home in SA when you’re far away. Quick question- where did you get your yellow and blue Jerry cans? Are they Frontrunner?
Thank you Katherine, and glad you enjoyed the episodes. I got my yellow Jerry cans from outdoor warehouse. They sell the complete range I believe, so, green for petrol, yellow for diesel, and blue for water. I am subsequently in the process of going black Jerry cans though, which one can get from Frontrunner. Hope this helps. Rgds Ryan
Thanks for the quick reply! We will check them out. Hopefully we can find something similar over here in New Zealand. We have the 40L Frontrunner tank, but want to get some for petrol too!
Brilliant episodes! I've pretty much watched all of your Botswana episodes at least twice! Hope to one day bump into you guys out in the Bots bush. Quick question, in your opinion, do you think it's possible to stay at Baine's Baobab but do a day game drive to Nxai Pan and back to Baine's? Busy planning a trip for next year dry season :)
HI Chris and Ed, your content is fantastic, would you mind letting me know what video editing tools you guys make use of? Your editing is INSANE, BIG UPS!!
Hi Craig. You are a confused fella, as this is 4x4ventures, and nowhere in your comment do you mention this channel. Head on over to their channels to find out more. This edit, filming, design, is done by 4x4ventures.
I'm laughing at you hammering that peg in. I've see screw in pegs on some Aussie videos, you use a hand drill to drill the peg in. Cant find them locally unfortunately.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 my man, I worked on that peg bud. Died in the heat that day. Since swapped out to a sand filled mallet, and one day, I will be back in Nxai Pan to destroy the earth like Thor. Hand drills . . . Shit, now that is taking it a bit far 🤣🤣
Lovely footage Ryan and I enjoy your enthusiasm. A common mistake TH-cam filmmakers make, is the constant shitty music. It robs the viewer of the full experience. Instead of canned noise, what could be better than the crackling of a fire, or the crunching of tyres on gravel, or the sounds of the animals, or the breeze through the trees. In my opinion Ryan, dump the music and give your viewers the sights AND sounds of the beautiful bush of Botswana.
Thank you Grant for tour comment and critique. I will take your response on board and see how it goes. The difficulty with traveling in groups is the vehicle, radio, and chit chat sounds. So, tough to find good, clean audio. Keep supporting and keep commenting. We will get there. Take care 🙌
@@4x4ventures_southafrica Ryan, well therein lies the art of filmmaking, is to find those soundbites. It's not instant gratification. But in truth, human voices and radio sounds are authentic and should be part of the sound patina. Let's listen to the growl of a diesel engine, rather than soulless music ;)
Hey Grant. So coming from a production background I kind of have a different approach. You sound in the know. Are you from a similar background? Making the effort on the next couple of episodes, so please add your opinion when they drop. I would appreciate your critique. Keep well and stay tuned in. 🤟
th-cam.com/video/_zPjDs3QRBM/w-d-xo.html The Camp Cook Section , we want the full video of this part. It starts with onions in a black iron pot, a full lump of deboned lamb .... and then what? American overlanders always do beef. Aussie overlanders do chicken English overlanders do beef and chicken Weekend wannabee's do McDonalds and pot noodles. There you are with a nice lump of lamb and NO Camp Cook Section. C'mon guys ....

Yes, a special place. What a memory for your birthday 🤟
@@4x4ventures_southafrica we also went on the okavango Delta on a sunset cruise
The entire Botswana is just an amazing experience
Couldn't say it any better. What a special place indeed. The delta for me is as close to the garden of Eden we can get.
Boteti looking lush. Nice videos Ryan.

No worries, I do believe that frontrunner did have yellow tanks, but made in PVC plastic, goodluck
Anyone knows the song from the intro? 🤔
Wonderful. Put the titles of the musics as well!
Thank you for the comment. 🤟
Thanks, cool video. What canopy do you have on your Ranger? It looks really good.
It is an Exotech canopy. Dont know if they around anymore.

How come you planned nata, maun should of been closer with better shops ?
We planned Gweta mate, which is closer to Maun, only for fuel. We didn't need to stock up on anything else.
