If you have issues or question to Reolink cameras, I can also recommend signing up to Reolink Facebook group facebook.com/groups/reolink/ where you get instant support form the manufacturer.
I like it. Very nice automation.Maybe someday I will try to create something similar, but with Alexa and share it on my YT channel. Good job one more time
Yes, please do. And I have a worthless Ring doorbell. I will not pay for a suscription service. So maybe I can finally use the Ring doorbell as intended!
Szia! Ismét egy nagyon fain video! Csak így tovább... Tudom hogy sok időt elvesz egy egy video (és a hozzá tartozo anyag) készítése vágása de tervezed a magyar csatornát tovább vinni?
It's probably safe to say that if ffmpeg can't do the stream conversion for you, nothing will. :) Is it the Reolink Argus 2 or something else which you have been using in this video?
I am using Reolink RLC-410W. Battery operated Reolink cameras do not support image link. I think ffmpeg could do the conversion, I am just not sure how to properly configure it.
FFMPEG works great, here's an example I use for capturing a 10 sec stream (Foscam camera but Reolink should work as well): ffmpeg -y -rtsp_transport tcp -i rtsp://usr:pwd@cam_url/videoMain -vcodec copy -an -map 0 -t 10 /tmp/frontdoorcam.mp4 This is a part of a script I use to send the stream to Telegram, this way I can see who's at the door, even when I'm not at home.
The Google Nest Hub may (at least) play jpg video streams from Blue Iris or any other source that provides jpg. I have not, as far as I remember tried with RSTP. Use the service "play_media" on the media player with a message like this msg.payload = {"data":{"media_content_id": "http[s?]://[IP for Blue Iris]/mjpg/[Camera name]/video.mjpg", "media_content_type": "image/jpg"}}. Works great! I do exactly the same for Chromecasts. I have whitelisted my Home Assistant's IP in Blue Iris' so I do not have to use credentials for playback. Edit: I use Home Assistant by the way.
Sorry, I don't mean to be "that guy", but your video thumbnail graphic should read "WHO is at... " and not "HOW is at...". Otherwise, awesome use of node-red to integrate video to your Google Home Hub . Looking forward to trying to implement it myself.
Thanks a lot bro, sharing a fantastic tutorial. We seriously learn a lot from you. The best and perfect lecturer. May I get this example scripts file pic_upload.sh from you? So sorry I might asking too much.

Thank you! Works also with some minor tweaks with Doorbird.
I have eye motion docker image and this provides a stream url which you add to http template node. Happy new year
Is the RF button standard 433MHz and using RF bridge to capture the input? If so, can you please share the link where you bought it?

Ez vegul is egy egyszeru video. Ezt konnyen megcsinalom magyarban is.
Great I liked it. Can this Display only on Google home hub or on Google cast devices as well?
I think it works on Google cast devices as well.
@@csongorvarga Ya works like a charm thx
You can add parameters to static.jpg?time= when loading image to the hub.
Thanks, that is a great tip!

Oh, that was a rookie mistake. Thanks for letting me know. At least I could get the thumbnail updated....

@@csongorvarga wow u r the best... Very much appreciated
Nice, have you looked into cast all the things?
github.com/skorokithakis/catt/
I use it to cast a dashboard (webpage) to the nest hub
Thanks, I will take a look. I have other ideas in mind.
