Ya really went "I should save up money to stock up, so we're always full" and then bought palm trees for 1k :D
Not to mention he bought decorations for 10k LOL :)
The workshop is a beast of profit (especially once you have an employee to run it) so don't let the initial costs deter you. If you click on the little chart icon in the purchasing menu, it gives you a graph of costs, the average cost, and what price you sell things at. ie: mirrors are always friggin expensive in cost but you sell each mirror for $100 a pop so a cost of $80 per mirror isn't terrible. But tires. Man, every vehicle has at least the passenger front tire blown out. Had tire costs at $40 per and I was buying those suckers in bulk because they sell for $80 per tire.
Same goes for anything in a purchasing menu. Even if the item has a red dot, that just means it's cost is currently above average. If the cost is just $5 above average, you probably still have plenty of room for profit.
It mentioned early on that you can turn off various events.
It might be worth seeing if you can disable the kid and/or sandstorms, if those are more annoying than fun.
you can absolutely turn them off.
The warehouse also lets you stock more tires and mirrors, so you should probably have been doing that too.
Z1 you can get rid of the repair garage trash by using your trash bag it makes it much faster to clean things up also you should just fuel up Rudy all the way as well it literally does not cost you any fuel also would recommend getting your paint jobs done by a company it should be currently cheap since your station is so small while mine is pretty much at max level and costs me $700 to paint everything and i mean every wall from inside the gas station and out as well as the roof as well as the other paintable buildings

When you click on Decorations (14:38), there's an option on the right called Cards. Maybe that's how you access whatever you're supposed to do with the cards you're collecting

I believe you can toggle what you wanna show and what you don’t so you should probably buy all the upgrades I believe the toggle will be on the right side of the screen

i dont know how far in advance you record. The new employee update came out yesterday (9/18) and is pretty cool! auto pay, 2 job assignments and day/night shift!

The cards are for a future update from what I read... "Shady Deals" DLC. Which "maybe" after the Tidal Wave DLC. 🤷♂

There is a computer in the garage where you can order parts and do all the same stuff as the one in the shop. Also another one in the warehouse.

If anyone tries the game after the release of the DLC Air Strip. DO NOT download the DLC. igot stuck at Gas Station Level 3 because the quest for the DLC went first and i couldn't get to the Level 4 GS. I had to uninstall the dlc and start a new game

the cards looks like a card game you can play. it has a health and attack power in the boxes. i would have avoided decoration until you finished upgrading everything first. when ever i see decoration in resource management games i tend to do them when they require me to do them.

mentions that the employees don't earn tips fueling cars, takes employee's place earns a few tips, ... keeps hiring employee to fuel car meaning he's going to have to fuel EVEN more cars to earn the tips... lol
