It’s nice that the charter included freeze arrows on some of the sections that needed to be switch-footed.
I especially like how the freeze arrow footswitches first appear on the chart as a way of introducing the tech that the rest of the chart is going to focus on.

for the longest time i thought this comment was sarcastic criticizing the chart for the freeze arrow and i only just now realized that this is a genuine complement

The difficulty is entirely in the footswitches, so if you can read it I'd imagine this is now the most realistic choice for a first 18 PFC.
Yeah, this is basically a free 18 PFC for the DDR players that have had plenty of exposure to ITG.

And yeah, just watching this chart makes me want to get better at footswitches.
This tests an interesting skillset that is basically never used in this game, which may be why the rating is a bit inflated to 18. This is conceptually like daiuchuu stage EXH in SDVX where it’s either solidly in its rating or well below (for ITG players, a mid 16?)
I'd say low-mid 17; the note density is clearly out of the range of what 16 would offer.
DDR Players: "This is a challenging 18"

LeftやRightをかけて縦連の練習に使えそうだし、正規鏡でスイッチの練習にも使えそう

Konami has made good 18s in the past: Schrödinger's Cat CSP, Max 360 ESP, Come to Life CSP, Bamboo Sword Girl CSP, New Century CSP, and the 3 Golden League CSP 18s are some notable ones.
The other new Touhou 18 from the recent GP pack update is a very good 18 as well.

lowkey i feel like if your stamina is up to par this is barely harder to pfc than the expert chart. obviously this one is a lot more intense but the expert chart has those weird isolated 16th jumps and gallops, nothing in this chart can trip you up like that

How is this an 18 but Overdrive CSP is a 17
This chart is an 18 because it has very long 16th streams with numerous footswitches thrown in the middle of them. The length of the streams by themselves is tiring, but the additional difficulty of the footswtiches can be hard for those who are not used to that tech.
Overdrive CSP definitely should be rated up to an 18 though; that chart is basically a harder FELMO.
