THIS IS INSANITY. They took the risk, they pay the price!!! THAT IS WHAT CAPITALISM IS ALL ABOUT. I am sick of socialism in America for these high rollers. Yes the elderly wanted the bigger returns, but that does not entitle them to government money!!! This just throws the risk/reward ratio out the window! If you cannot stand the risk stay in government insured CDs at your bank or better yet physical gold. I hate what these financial jerks have done to the retirees, but the retirees are not children that need their hands held. And damn sure don't bail out the fund managers who knew better!!!

The rich have no such fears, worries and issues ... how convenient that it falls on the middle class retirees. We are not all future tellers and geniuses in the market. We just want enough to get by, so 13% (divs) was my risk, now it's 0% with a 70K loss in capital of hard worked money I busted my ass to save! I wish I would have known about this before ... well lessons learned.

Fun Fact: One key part of Inflation is that its just another form of taxation. Instead of seeing an extra 3% of your paycheck disappear each year in taxes, they just create more money and now your paycheck is simply worth 3% less.

This is ridiculous just let the market balance naturally. Home prices have been insanely high for a long time and they need to come down. The Fed cannot keep artificially propping them up like this or there will be another huge housing crisis. Not to mention there are tons of people my age holding onto large amounts of cash ready to buy into the home housing market when it does fall because we’re not going to spend at these ridiculous overpriced levels.

Homes are already on a huge discount and if you knew the housing market already crashed, youd be buying before it went back up. Instead you'll complain instead of making money. You'll say the rich are rich because they're rich but you'll refuse to let your money work for you.

This is the opposite! The government caused the failure by saying people didn't have to pay what they owe! The homeowners keep the money they don't pay! Now the mortgage holders want to be paid or they will follow their contract rights and foreclose. Legally, the companies that experienced margin calls should sue the government for causing the market crash!

They're all in a similar now position. Guess what else all the mortgages bonds they hold now are risky across the board Simply because of uncertainty. The riskier the better money to be made.

Buy to watch the government of the country I live in pump all this money to the Mercedes and BMW driving class with boats and multiple houses and cabins, is so so unfair. I wish they would start everyone back ar zero. F all these rich wining about losing money that they stupidly made the choice to gamble with....
