Great video. Thanks for the explanation. I am going to be using 6 of these controller to control wheelchair motors in a 6 wheel drive "Mars" style rocker-bogie robot.

How would you add an encoder to this, to control position, speed and direction? And what type of encoder would you use IE magnetic, photo cell etc? Nobody seems to make a 24V 350W large geared DC motor like the one you used in this video.
Excellent explanation, Sir. Can you mention of any controller like this that can handle two high-current motors same time?
options are very limited regarding the topic. check somthing like solo uno v2
Can this driver be used to drive a transformer winding to produce a decent inverter?
I doing similar things but getting my Arduino constantly rebooting once motor is powered. Power is stable, something with noize or I don't know
Hello, can you help me, please?:) Can i use PSU on 20v, and motor on 12v? Or i need use and motor and PSU on 12v? Thank you veru much for answer
Bonjour cher monsieur, est ce que deux moteurs de 12 volts comme les vôtres peuvent faire marcher un robot de 40 kilogrammes.
is this good for wiper motor ?
What happens if I set the enable pin with a value different of HIGH or LOW ? For exmaole if I set it with a value of 150 ?
How many motors can be use on adruino?
Sir can I use 24v adaptor . 50amper

Great video! I am making a ball launching machine using a 12V 30W motor and a 16.8 Ah Lithium battery. I need to control the motor through Arduino to run 1 sec then stop for 5 sec and repeat this cycle. Would this motor controller work with this setup? If not, what do you recommend? Thanks
Excellant demo, but what about the Arduino coding for us who can not do the coding. Blessings
With the connection, my motor is not changing the direction(anti clockwise). I cross checked the code & connections thrice.
Hello, how do i use the low-side MOSFET inside the BTN8982 when the load (Motor) is connected to the Vs + supply (+24 Volts) and O/P terminal (tab and pin 4)? I'm using a PWM drive signal at the input of IN while INH is held high (logic +5volts)? The datasheet shows that to select either the high-side or low side MOSFET transistors inside the BTN8982 will mean that when the PWM signal is high (+5 volt level) then the high-side MOSFET will be on therefore shunting the motor which will act a brake, which is not efficient? Any ideas?
I have burned 3 of those.. with 350W 24V wheelchair motors. From what I have learned this cloud be because of back current. This driver does not have protection from back current. I will experiment next with cytron mdds30. Should be better.
So after many more tests and practical usage I can fully recommend cytron mdds for 350w 24v wheelchair motors
Can I use BTS7960 to drive hub motor?
hi sir,
can you please suggest 4 channel bldc motor controller which can be used for 1500w bldc motors
Hi Saravanan,
Read with interest this article and I'm still not sure how it works.
How toaActivate the high and low side mosfets to drive the motor.
For simplicity, say I didn't want to use an Arduino { I'm to old to starting code} but simply drive the inputs with +5volts.
If I enable say the l/h chip {INH High} then apply a high to {IN} how do I enable the r/h chip so that the lower mosfet is connected to ground and assuming the l/h chip the top mosfet is connected to the supply rail.
Does it mean that on the r/h chip I enable it {INH High}, will that in turn, turn on the lower mosfet with {IN} low.
I'm at a loss.
Can you help
Thanks
gazza
Just give 5 v to both the enable pins ,and use 2 switch to give 5 v to both the pwm pins for forward and backward
Awesome video
Hello ,
I have connect ibt bts7960 to wiper motor snd flysky remote control but some time working to move left side and right side and some time moving to one side only ,really i dont know how to fix that
Is it that module not getting hotter for a long time use ?
I ran this controller for about six hours straight, using a 24vdc wheelchair motor (rated 450W), under NO LOAD. The motor got to about 130* F, and the controller barely got warmer than ambient air temp. Here is a link to my test video to see my setup. I used the code from Robojax for my testing. th-cam.com/video/kxGwZ1kxaq8/w-d-xo.html
Really appreciate your work for this video !
Hello i want to comand two of this motors with rc. Can you explain please
Nice video
Very good video thank you
Thank u sir ❤
PLEASE - if you're going to demonstrate powerful high voltage power supplies to folk that might be new to these topics, ALWAYS connect the earth - the earth pin on the power supply is there for a reason. It's not so bad if you end up electrocuting yourself, but don't teach others to do the same.
Other than that - an interesting video.
olá, pode me dizer como inserir um potenciometro na entrada analogica para controlar a velocidade desse motor ? como ficaria o programa? estou fazendo uma bike eletrica e tenho esses componenstes todos mas não tenho conhecimento na programação do arduino. obrigado
Sema sir super நன்றி
Great 👍👍👍
Thank you
Can i control 2 motors individually using this if not , then what is the best alternative.
Thank you Sir
What happen if we put high/low in l_en & r_en?
Your motor will not move as expected and if connect motor to power supply ground, It will reverse the polarity and cause a short. I just ran all kinds of experiments. The way this man explains it 100% correct
@@mopenstein does this module have flyback diodes for back emf module protection?
Thank You :)
Thank you... super alle info...
Thanks
Plz do a vedio how to upload 2 codes to Esp 32 board plz
Nice
Nice ....
Can I get the codes
Please code
Hello
Bts7960 is a bad module. It has no facility to protect mosfets from back emf. I was working with 350watts 24V motor. I used this module,2 modules get burned. Waste of money. Then I made a h bridge with pwm to control my motor. Each module gets burned when I power off the motor.
Hello good What is your email? I would like to ask you about an exercise that I have
This is 100% how to wire this board. I just duplicated it on a raspberry pi and it worked perfectly. Don't believe the writing on the board, follow the directions laid out here. Thank you for the video!
maam can I ask for the schematic?
