This exactly why I prefer DC. Because they actually make you think about how these heroes and villains have repercussions in the real world. The film was a complete package and an epic journey from start to finish. I love the graphic novels used, the properly executed punchlines, and the background of the characters introduced. This movie did a great job showing the sheer power and destructive capabilities of Demi-gods/Superheroes/Heroes/Kryptonians under on Earth. I am insanely in love with this cinematography and combat sequence. Notice how the female characters didn't bash the man's masculinity or invoke any "girl power" nonsense? And still, they came off as a powerful female character in the movie. (WW, Faora, Luis Lane, Mera, HQ and Martha). That's good writing by Goyer, the Nolan brothers, and Zack Snyder. Also brilliant acting by everyone.

@@jobsmine Yeah, BvS is trash for the most part, Aquaman was pretty good, Wonder Woman was actually complete trash, and I said the Dark Knight movies were good. I never said all Marvel movies were good as some of those suck too. Avengers wasn't really that great, Thor was trash and The Dark world was pretty bad too.

Edit: Man when Superman was fighting Steppenwolf and they modified “If you love these People” I lost it I always wanted another version of that score and Junkie delivered

You get a true appreciation of the dramatic magnitude of this soundtrack when you listen to it on its own. It gets lost while watching 'Man of Steel' as there is so much action going on. Hans Zimmer has composed a real gem here for sure!
Until man of steel came , all the superman movies I didn't connect to, it was fun but superman was something I never liked as a superhero , I always thought they just made something that had all the power they could imagine. I always loved batman grounded, relatable. Batman is still my favourite but damn Man of steel changed things, man of steel made me not just like him but made me love him. This is the best superman movie ever for me and he is the best superman. Let's hope they #RestoreTheSnyderVerse , keeping faith.
I think for u as for me, they didnt make Superman perfect. He was struggling to find purpose in life, his identity. How he fit into the world, something we all as humans struggle with. Thats what made him relatable imo. Loved this movie. Also like you am the biggest BATMAN fan ever til i die!
But here's the irony.
Apart from being 100% human, we can never relate to BATMAN as a multi billionaire who lives a life most of us will never obtain. Js

SO powerful!! I can't get over how good this soundtrack is!! I love it so much
I hope anyone in need of help reads this. I had great grades (was a A/9 student), going to the gym, had a 6 year relationship and was free to do what i wanted. Then broke up, i stopped going to the gym and became overweight, about to be kicked out of University and an emotional mess due to family circunstances that i wont disclose. After 2 years of depression, therapy, and going back to the gym (to the point of it being part of my daily basis as basic as having food and sleeping), i finally understood that my biggest enemy was myself. Not ppl making me suffer or my circunstances (Sure life sucks to the point of wishing to be dead, and people give up on you, but you cant give up to yourself, have pride in your existence). When fighting yourself, at the begining you fail most of the time.
You dont want to keep going and want to stay home, lying on the couch or bed feeling bad for yourself. If you feel like that, play this Flisght from this soundtrack or any other epic soundtrack from Zimmer (e.g. Electro's theme from Amazing Spiderman 2, or Interestellar's theme), or listen to Anilifts and Tevvez in YT or Spotify, watch some Zyzz motivational vids; sit in your bed, rise and remember that the void you leave is filled by something else (J. Peterson). Then, in a matter of 6 months or 1 year you´ll hate your old self, and by that simple realisation you win your first battle against you. Keep fighting against yourself untill having a break one day is your own choice, not your lazyness choice.
Some sell you its simple. I promise you its hard af, BUT trust me if a nobody, a shit like me can exit the depression and leave behind the hatred for myself, i promise you also can. We are all gonna make it brahs. I believe in you :)

This is one of Ultron's quotes, it seems a little different at the end. I actually plan on writing a crossover between this version of Superman with the MCU. Paired with Wanda Maximoff ofc. Putting the two most powerful heros of each universe to be pairs, only makes sense
My favourite bit about this film is that it presents a Clarke Kent who doesn't know who he's supposed to be. Ultimately, Man of Steel is the journey of a selfish God becoming the world's protector. I honestly think the flashbacks really help to solidify the unease in Clarke throughout the film. This music is the epic backscore to this God's apotheosis.
I think i appealed to Clark more cuz he was just like me trying to figure life out instead of being this perfect being who always does right.

But like I said, Zack’s films in the DCEU are the diamonds in the rough. Ok BVS has several flaws, but other than that, Man of Steel and Snyder Cut are in a completely different league compared to the rest of the DCEU.
