It’s been a joy watching you guys. Even if I never did win one of your prize picks 😂. I’m still a winner having been able to enjoy the reviews and rants. Some of Dan’s “Stories from the Road” would be fantastic. Keep it between the ditches, Pals!
Good morning Fellas, Thanks for another great video. It was nice to see another perspective to the unboxings and thanks to Mike for his insights and the bass line treats. I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you guys had to work through. I will sorely miss the candid talk about the cheap but playable guitars for sure but, at the same time, I'm also excited to see the new direction you boys take us. I'll be watching for your new stuff!!!! Thank you again!
It didn’t set in yesterday, after all the years, didn’t believe it would happen. I was preoccupied at the time, and didn’t catch your ending parts of the video. Thought maybe you needed a day to regroup your thoughts. Totally understand the money issue 100%. Don’t know how you guys were able to do it this long, but you’re both Much Appreciated! Ya got plenty guitars already, maybe Dan can play them while you teach us some cooking and mixology?? Maybe sing some more Louie songs or tell more interesting stories?😄 TV just won’t be right without you Boys. 🤠🤩🎸
We're not going away, just reformatting the show. I just can't afford to purchase 4 guitars a month or do I have anyplace to put them. Dan has a lifetime of stories to tell and I'm going to help him tell them. Thanks again for watching up to now 😎👍!
@@leodanryan966 Speak of the devil!!!!!! I had a feeling this day would come… and I seem to recall making a suggestion for re-tooling your show kind of along these lines a little while back, too... So I guess you decided to take up my idea after all? 😉😁 Seriously though Leo, you guys are the best! I love watching your reviews, but I think Dan’s playing is undoubtedly what gets the REPEAT viewers, and I have had the sense for a while now that Dan is a guitar PLAYER first and foremost, who would love to be able to just PLAY. Hopefully you’ll be able to tune your video format and find your stride-I think it’s very impressive that you’ve gradually been finding your own video production style! I also think Mike is a GREAT addition to the show-I would love to see more of him along with Dan, too.
Another great vid. Sad news indeed, but I hope to still see you guys from time to time.... on whatever you'd like to share with us. Spend your money on you and your family, and enjoy life! Keep on rockin!
Thanks for all the great vids. Totally understand the expense is too big. FYI, I still go back to the IYV thin line jazz guitar for inspiration in my practice. I want to be able to jam like that one day.
great to see "mr bassman" every chance we get guys! sad news about the reviews ending but very understandable as well... if i had the money id offer to buy that double cut p90 model beside the american flag model.... 2 more ppl bought KGD guitars thanks to my films about it.....i still have mine as well!
Thank you for all the awesome videos and your hard work! I hear what you are saying regarding the cost of your instruments as I mainly build my guitars from kits. It is a great deal of time and work that I have invested into them and I'm am unable to sell any of them. My guess is because they are unbranded but that's okay I only have 14 but I am out of space too lol. Take care I wish I could play as well as Dan.
It's been a very fun and interesting ride, you guys! I know that once the money is spent on a budget guitar, about 70% disappears into the ether. This is a time of change for all of us and your new incarnation, free of spending moeny on gear, will be easier to manage and a lot of fun, too!
Thx for verifying the positive aspects of trying a electric instrument unplugged ❣️Did i hear the sad news right? You guys stop this format? Oh boy 😢 but I understand the problem - I would have bought some of your guitars (specially the Tele Dan played) but the shipping is exorbitant expensive.- Thank you all for the entertaining and informative time you spent to us. - take care and God bless you ❤
Thanks very much Guenther, we'll still be making videos, just not guitar reviews. We'll be focusing on Dan's career as a professional guitarist and try to have guests in to caroberate his lies (I meant to say stories) Lol 😆
Well heck, alrighty then. Its been a run. Didnt think it would happen this quickly. I know we discussed this topic last time we met, dang. Would have liked to have seen the "set"/ studio at some point , and slung the bs some . I would really have liked to handle that eart explorer. Anyway will definitely be looking forwards to any future content. Take her easy.
Well I can say that you're very welcome. I joined you when you were around 50 subscribers so that's been a while. I know what you mean by costs because since the covid hit and continue the pricing of everything is going up so much and I'm having a similar issue. I haven't spent as much money as you have yet but it is costing quite a bit and a variety of Supply is difficult to find now especially in Canada or to canada.
I also have a technical observation here: At approximately 20:40, at least on my speakers here, as Dan and Mike start their jam, Dan’s guitar really needs to be hotter in the mix-he can barely be heard! This is where it gets a little tricky though: If you’re relying on the camera mic to pick up all the instruments, it’s going to be a NIGHTMARE to try to mix all of the instruments properly, not just because each instrument has to be balanced, but because the camera’s Automatic Gain Control is constantly going to be adjusting the recording level to accommodate the loudest sound playing in the moment. I wish I could think of a good solution for this, short of running a separate sound mixing system…

Yessireebob! It definitely costs more to purchase and ship to Canada 🇨🇦. Thanks again for your help Mike 👍!

Dan, you got to put the band together now. Come on the bass player is there. You need a drummer. Come on now
Play the bass y'all... Yo much talking
Well, he eventually did, but we have fun making videos, don't worry about whether you do.
