To this day I'll never understand why there isn't a clear condition for gaining points in a level. It would be nice for points to finally have a use after so many years
For those in the comments asking Max points in endless is possible I believe it's been done but it takes an insane amount of time. Like on the order of several days (without taking into account breaks).
What if you attach keys to the Lakitus, or a clear condition? It seems that they wouldn’t be able to leave then. And since a fire flower is 2000 points (I think?), alternating between Lonk / fire flowers / chonkiness will give double the points.

We need to build a super world that each level is 100 seconds and is created specifically for this challenge. Make it where there's no infinite point set ups or grinding spots. Also, if you die, you have to subtract a certain number of points at the end of your run for each death.

I love your vids Rays and been watching you for a year now but just a small critique. You explain the run and the purpose of it, tricks etc for way too long. Like it was around the 5 minute mark you kept talking about it when I think explaining it from the start then just doing the run and focusing on the levels themselves would be way more fun. Lots of people don't like stuff explained to them constantly, especially when some of them are obvious. Keep up the amazing work :)

1,000,000 points in 86 seconds is about 11,628 per second!
But you can use Ceave gaming's strat for getting max points which can do it in like less than a second of in game time (IGT) to get to 1,000,000.
One simple thing, set the time to max, you get more time points that way and therefore can jump the flag sooner

So I took his challenge to try and beat his time, and I made my own level and managed to get a 1:07.28
Add in the code, if you've uploaded it, then others can enjoy your, um, creation lol
I would watch a series to see you reach max points! But with the rules you mentioned, like not spend the whole run in one Level.

you actually with the final design at 14:10 go 11,627.90697674419 points a second which rounds up to 11,628 points or 11.6k points a second.
