  • Find out how Hsing-I fills the gap between mind and body. Helping you develop the will and ability to focus your mind to help you reach your goals.
Most are not born with this; it is developed over time and with practice.
Hsing-i chuan, like bagua and tai chi, is an internal martial art. It is considered the most direct and yang practice of the internal martial arts. In this excerpt from Hsing-i Wood and Water Fist DVD Set, lineage holder Bruce Frantzis talks about developing your mind and intent in the context of hsing-i chuan.
“Energy Arts is dedicated to offering the most comprehensive tai chi, qigong (chi gung), internal martial arts, breathing and meditation programs on the planet.”

In the universe, forms, templates, and what we call matter comes from directed intent. Projected intent. That's why the true underlying principle of Hsing I is powerful. This same secret is found in all the western mystery school as well as the eastern neija.Project the intent into form.

Great video! I've recently discovered that you need strong intent to not do something as well. Such as avoiding eating fatty foods, eating excessively, etc. So I'm also trying to train developing the ability to not do certain things that I know are destructive to myself.

A great exposition of the meaning behind the name. Hsing-i used to be called Xin yi (心意) and the more orthodox forms (Henan and Dai family) still are. It would be great to hear Mr. Frantzis talk a little about the meaning of xin yi.

I am not totaly sure but as I remeber I once read that Xin means heart "Xin Yi" "Heart Mind" is a taoist alchemic term. Maybe that helps you.
