I have both the Shelby Wallet and Razor Wallet. I love my Shelby Wallet and have customized it with my Driver's ID. The peek is effortless and easily works into any routine and when handled correctly and goes unnoticed closeup with a generous spectrum of angles. I do comfortably place the wallet into the hands of the spectator as part of my routine without any difficulty.
Yeah I think overall it’s a safe bet for sure. If you get the odd participant who starts actually examining things then I think it’s game over.. where as I think the razor wallet is a bit more safe for that. Generally I don’t think people really examine wallets most of the time.. anyone with any decent etiquette would just feel rude doing so.
This is essentially the exact same peek as the razor wallet with an additional gimmick. The blink wallet can be achieved very quick with minimal movement and only exposing as much of the peek as you need.
Hi, comprehensive review. I have the Viper and have had the Nexus. Is this the same principle? The only downside of the Viper was that the written word was not too easy. Does this work similarly?
Thank you! Sorry I haven’t been getting notifications from this app I’m not sure what’s going on so I’m seeing this late. The razor peek being external, I would go for something internal if you hate the razor, like the Orphic.
@@ChrisEdwardsMagic I guess I’m looking for a peek that doesn’t require me to go back into the wallet to fetch another business card in order to write down my prediction. For some reason once their business card is put into the wallet my need to go back to it feels very dodgy. So do any wallets or gimmicks eliminate that move?
@rickcleveland310 a Jaks wallet will eliminate going back to the wallet. The Orphic has a handling where moving the wallet (I usually have it in front of me and move it off to the side) uses gravity and the wallet opens enough for you to get your peek, but not having to go back into it. The blink 2.0 although it’s not really a wallet as it has very limited storage. I’d say the best option for getting an immediate peek and not having to ever go back to the wallet would be a jaks style wallet. I would recommended “the peek wallet” by secret tannery. I’ve done a review for it on here as well.
@@rickcleveland310 the Shelby can be done without going back to the wallet as well yes. Sorry I thought you were already familiar with the Shelby. The only downside to the Shelby is limited storage. A couple working slots.
The Shelby wallet named after the peaky blinders character. Great review. I purchased this when it was first launched and use it all the time. I left the universal blocking card at the front to ask them if they can see through the wallet as I do my peek at Eye level, I then place the wallet in their hands and had no issues that makes the performance more solid...regards.
Yeah that’s what I do with my razor wallet. I think both are equally good but I have years of experience using the razor wallet so I will probably always favour that one myself.
If you want to send me a private message on Facebook I can go over that with you :) If you don’t use Facebook send me an email at Chrisedwardsmagic@hotmail.com
I use Orphic and satisfied with it so far .. but I would like to take it to next level with a bit more deceptive one .. I saw blindmans wallet by menny L. I liked the method and the idea that the billet is folded but heard complains about quality of the wallet itself . Have you seen or used the wallet ? Do you recommend any other wallets over Orphic for peak ? In the same price range Thanks Chris .. keep up the great work 😍
Thank you! No experience with the blind man’s wallet as I heard the same thing regarding quality and didn’t want to spend that kind of money if the quality isn’t there. In my opinion, the razor and shadow wallet is the best peek option. It’s completely personal preference but it has been my favourite peek for years and no wallet so far has changed that. I use the Orphic as my everyday wallet. I like it. The peek is good, and I love the look and style of the wallet itself. But I also carry the razor wallet on me since it is a small minimalistic wallet. I use it as a business card wallet. If you are just using a wallet for peeking and don’t need the switch or card to wallet I would highly recommend the shadow wallet. It’s the same as the razor wallet but more storage so you can actually use it as an everyday wallet. I carried it as my everyday wallet for years before the Orphic, and still get the peek features of it since I carry both the razor and the Orphic together.
Except just as expensive haha. I agree though the razor and shadow have a higher quality (provided you get the genuine leather razor, over the vegan leather). At first, when I was doing the modification to my razor wallet (that is now the Shelby wallet), I thought it was the best idea.. but then I found it unnecessary and ditched the modification. Not needed.
Yeah it’s not a bad peek but as far as a wallet goes there are definitely better options out there. I really don’t understand 3 unusable pockets that all lead to the same area.

@ChrisEdwardsMagic Agreed ... But the audience but it is easy to manage this and remove the wallet from their hands as part of the reveal.
@dankramer862 absolutely! :)
How does this compare to blink 2 by looch that you reviewed please. I have the razer wallet but don’t like the peek as find it’s too exposed.

Yes it’s the exact same principle as the viper my friend. I don’t use the m****r on the Shelby or the viper for my peek.
If I hate the peek of the Razor, what is a peek wallet with a better & different peek method you think is better?

Good video yet again and no there is no video on customising the wallet they mention about it but your right they is no video on customising it
Thank you my friend, good to know haha I spent a fair amount of time trying to find it.
Kind of a poor man's razor/shadow
