You had me at Desert Disco! I’m sorry you had such a terrible experience. Thank you for sharing! Keep making videos - i think you could grow this channel.
I can tell you, I started out strong, trying to build this channel only to one prove my youngest daughter wrong that even at my age I could be a TH-camr, but the truth of the matter is, it is extremely time-consuming and hard to find maybe more people my age that are interested in watching my type of topics. Either way I will continue to post hopefully some fun but mostly educational type videos in the Rv industry whether I ever get my thousand subscribers or not again thank you for your comment.
Great story on what a diesel pusher can cost! Sorry you got stuck with the repairs and hopefully you'll still make some profit, even though it won't be as much as it would normally be. So glad I have a gas motorhome (2019 Tiffin) on a Ford F53 chassis!! Good on you for not passing the problems on to the buyer; I wish there were more good folks like you around.
Deep pockets you’re saying is spot on! I have a 2013 Newmar Ventana. We put less than 10,000 miles on it since we owned it not two years yet. On our way to Golf Shores Alabama so long story short started running bad. Was able to limp it the closest Cummins dealer and just diagnosed severe internal engine problems to me. Anyway had them change the oil and filter and headed home, which was about 1100 miles I did make. The day after I got home took off the oil filter and cut it opened and sure enough was loaded again with engine particles. Took it to my local Cummins deal her in MN With more diagnosis and now options on of how to go about fixing it. The best option for me because of all the labor involved in a rear engine was to just replace with a recon (new motor) to the tune of $43,000. Plus the diagnostic to get to this decision. Never thought it would happen to me! Sad part is they still can’t tell me what actually failed.
Thank you for your comment. This is exactly some of the situations that I speak of. If you had bought a gas motorhome you could have replaced the motor labor and all normally for around $5000 or less. I normally explain to my customers if you’re not pulling some massive enclosed trailer, there is no reason to buy a Diesel pusher. your own vacation most of the time or your Retired you’re not in a hurry so maybe it takes you an extra 15 minutes to climb that mountain safely and you get a lot more Motorhome for your money when you buy gas. Again, thank you for your comment.
Yes this was a local bank Repo that we purchased I don’t buy from other dealers for the reason that normally there’s a reason why they take them to Auction. They steal all the good parts out of them and other stuff but when Buying from Banks, banks will not play those kind of games ever unfortunately, this RV needed work. Nothing to do with the bank. Thank you for the questions.
I understand we’re always in it with the hope of making a profit unfortunately that wasn’t the case but you can’t win them all. It could’ve been much worse. It really wasn’t about the money or the profit. It was about the stress for this unit. Thank you for your comment.
You are one calm guy for all you've been through.....wish I had your patience!!
9 kids 11 grandkids help me with my patience thanks for your comment

Thanks for the video. I'm sure it opened up a lot of eyes to the cost of diesel ownership. By the way, I'm a new subscriber.
Thank you for subscribing I hope I can provide informative videos that sparks the interest of you and others in the future
Was as is for a reason. they knew and more than likely cleared the code before you got there . people are so trustworthy :)

That would not be bad if it was for you. 120000 for a good pusher, no issue for your use.
