I just wanted to say, you were a big part of my childhood. I’m now 19 but I remember watching you as a kid and being so proud to show my family my drawings. I have a little sketchbook I’ve had since a child and so many of them are drawings from you. I remember your voice and it just feels so nostalgic watching your videos. It’s a bittersweet feeling. Thank you and I love seeing that you’re still up and doing good. I wish the best for you :)
I honestly think Aladdin makes for a more believable villain than Jasmine does; considering how his first time meeting Jasmine went in the movie, it's not much of a stretch to imagine an unrepentant thief who held the princess hostage when he was confronted by the royal guard.
So like musical twisted?
The movie is called Aladdin for a reason
I would have liked to see Flotsam and Jetsam reimagined as Ursula's two plucky best friends who might be a little misguided about her goals (like how Scuttle and Flounder were to Ariel), but ultimately want to support her on her own journey. One of them could be more bubbly and outgoing, but also more intelligent about how the environment works and knowing a surprising amount of lore about a plot device that someone mentions. The other could be more sassy and judgemental, but also wiser about reading a room and knowing if someone is lying to Ursula (like villain!Ariel, for example).
I actually have an idea I’ve discussed with friends of a rewrite of the Little Mermaid where Ursula is a good guy. She’s a lady of the court, and is very eccentric and a little ditzy, but dies on her nieces (especially Ariel) and is very magically competent. We reimagined Flotsam and Jetsam as essentially having the personalities of very energetic and well-meaning dogs that Lady Ursula carries around in her clamshell purse. I.E. they’re excited to see Ariel come for a visit, and end up ramming into the pillars in the foyer. Ursula swims in, “Oh, my poor little poopsies!”
I got one for Rapunzel.
Rapunzel's backstory is similar to the original, but was never kidnapped. Her hair held magical abilities, including healing and making someone younger. She was always creative and the nicest person around. That is, till she met a theif named Ryder, or his real name, Eugene. At first, the guy was only there to steal the royal jewels, but ended up falling for the princess. However, her parents didn't like that, so she ran away from home, not knowing the dangers of the real world. Luckily, Eugene was always there for her, until they realized a heartbreaking truth; Rapunzel's magical abilities make her immortal. Eventually, he passed away, leaving Rapunzel devastated. As a result, she desperately tries to find a way to make herself mortal. Even tried cutting her hair, which worked, but only temporarily as her hair grows faster than normal. Then one day, she meets Gothel. A young and inspiring witch who has more potential than anyone she met in her kingdom, that's now in ruins after years of abandonment. At first, Gothel was amazed by the former princess's hair and wondered how she got those powers, only to realize it was from a flower her family kept safe for generations until the royal family stoled it. Coming to an agreement, Gothel tries to find a way to take her immortality away, but finding no luck. Until she starts singing a beautiful lullaby her mother used to sing her to help her sleep.

The girls realize that Rapunzel's hair reacts to the song and made Gothel look even younger than she was before, but also drained Rapunzel's life essence. Finally finding her way to a permanent mortality, she wants Gothel to sing that song at least once a day. However, Gothel has grown to care for Rapunzel and didn't want to inflict any harm on her and tried to find an alternative. This cause a drift between the two, causing Rapunzel to become more desperate and aggressive with her approach. Even going as far as guilt tripping her. Gothel tries to help her as much as possible, but the woman she met was long gone. However, she couldn't bring herself to leave Rapunzel alone. So she tries to find a safer way to help her, even if it means putting herself in danger.
I hope Gothel helps Rapunzel out!😊
The role reversed villains just look really surprised or uneasy at the role reversed good guys... 😅😂
I would watch these as movies. Ariel looked amazing. She's my favourite Disney character and I loved her evil take. I just thought about Belle and how she and Gaston swapping would look like 😂

This was incredible. This was certainly different from what I normally see from channels like yours, but this was a great change of pace. It was nice to see you doing this once again. I like how your were just taking it easy by showing us a compilation of all of your role swap videos since they are some of my favourite videos that you’ve done (with the Aurora and Mulan ones being my personal favourites) as well as one of my favourite types of art challenges to do and the music in the background was very relaxing. Overall, a simple and calm video to watch...and I'm happy for it. Also congratulations of having your very own graphic novel…it absolutely looks amazing and it just screams who you are as an artist. Challenge: Disney Princesses/Villains as Mythological Beasts/Dragons!
You are my favorite artist! 7 yrs ago, I came across one of your videos of you drawing a cute cotton candy. I loved food art, so I decided to draw what you drew. In my late 20s I didn't believe I could draw but you inspired me to just try draw things I liked. I learned fast that I could draw! It wasn't necessarily a talent than it is a skill! Before, I always believed it was a talent that some are blessed with but you showed me it is a skill. Thank you! It truly helped me have a higher self-esteem.
OMG! YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT DRAWER! You would literally restore Disney to its former glory if you worked for them because you are very creative and talented.😊😊❤❤❤❤
I can say that its very interesting how the disney princesses can be if they were to turn villanous which i may have some short ideas on how they are turned evil.
1. Sleeping Beauty - As Maleficent found out about Aurora being a tainted soul that cannot change, she would do what she can to try to change her. Instead of her cursing her, she had been cursed that she would have to try to purify her heart before her 18th birthday
2. Aerial - I can say that she had been as usual an outcast of the family that made her want things more. Like a way her personality became more dark and greedy that she went to Ursula to demand her needs.
3. Jasmine - Her stubborness Attitude basically lead her to being too spoiled by the Sultan that even I can put Jafar remained the same goal to look for the lamp by all means. Let's say yeah Aladdin had got the lamp that Jafar tried to get his hands on soon got to Jasmine's hands. This was due to Aladdin being tricked and how Jafar tried to stop him but was too late and Jasmine revealed her evil side and even turned more how her personality is.
4. Mulan - A simple one is that Mulan became so eager to try to show women can also fight but was denied always to the point it made her snap. Causing her to as put she joined the soldiers but once she realized how much they aren't capable of some things and how she killed the enemies, it got her twisted even more that she would try to rule it in her favor. Which in turn like so, the other force were trying to take refuge but Mulan thought they were enemies and that lead them to that battle.
5 Rupanzel - Simply put, Mother Gothal tried to raise Rupanzel after kidnapping her. This lead to making her instead of innocent and dreaming to be outside, lead her to get anxious. This to the point she snaps at Mother Gothal that she cannot stop her as she wanted to keep her and herself safe from being in danger.
6. Alice - I could guess that Alice probably ended up losing her mind when going through Wonderland that soon lead her to the darkside
Your comment is exactly what I was looking for, because the idea of the Disney princesses being evil and villainous all along while the supposed villain is actually just a caring person is a very interesting concept to divulge in.
The only one I would change would be Ariel, because since she has a beautiful voice she would be the perfect siren. The issue only arises because she ended up finding out that she liked killing the sailors/humans more than becoming one of them or falling in love. Also instead of falling in love with Prince Eric she ends up killing him which causes his father or guardian to come after the ocean and sirens. Then that would make her father King Triton go to Ursula to try and "fix" his daughter or something since in the movie she was obviously his favorite.

Congratulations on publishing your first graphic novel!! I think I've mentioned it before on another video of yours but I just adore your artwork, it's so beautiful and vibrant and you've inspired me to start drawing again! I also bought 3 of your coloring books as a Christmas present to myself: Mermaid Magic, Cozy Christmas and Princesses as Mermaids. The Little Mermaid is one of my favorite Disney movies too. I sort of have an obsession with mermaids myself :)
As for my top 3 princess/villain swap I think I'd have to say it's:

Mulan/Shan Yu

Backstory Ideas :D
Aurora/Maleficent - She was raised by evil fairies who are jealous of Maleficent's power/goodness or she was kidnapped by those same fairies and Maleficent was asked by the king and queen to find and help her.
Ariel/Ursala - I think of the whole theory/storyline where Ursula was King Triton's sister, and I feel like she's the kingdom's head sorcerer and she has to stop Ariel from stealing her father's trident/attacking the surface world with evil sea magic.
Jasmine/Jafar - Almost a straight swap: Jasmine has the lantern to try and gain power because she feels her father is too soft (wants to conquer the whole region?), Jafar is his advisor and has to convince the sultan Jasmine is going too far. Maybe he's evil too and Jafar has to overthrow them.
Mulan/Shan Yu - I feel like she's either on her way to conquer his territory or she's taking over China, and he's coming to help the Emperor.
Rapunzel/Gothel - If you've seen the animated series with the moonstone and the death song that turns her hair black, that's what I think of. She wants the moonstone or maybe if there's another sun drop flower in order to gain more power, and Gothel is either someone in the palace (a caretaker or a maid or even an advisor) or she's a villager whose family is the guardian of the flower/flowers or the moonstone, and she has to keep Rapunzel from getting it.
Alice/Queen - I feel like her thing would be greed, and she's just taking everything she wants without any regard to who actually needs it/what it does, and the Queen is trying to be kind/calm her down while also trying to keep her from hurting herself or her subjects.

10:04 So now that Shan Yu is the *good* guy, why does his skin tone have to get lighter? Skin tones don’t indicate one’s personality. Does this mean that darker skin tones are usually considered bad?

You should do a Snow White and evil queen role swap. You could involve the poison apple in Snow's design like she ate the apple to make herself more beautiful or something and it backfired,

So as far as the Alice in wonderland swap goes, I believe Alice found a way to take over Wonderland after going mad and the drawing is how she "keeps" the red queen in line. Or even darker Alice went mad in wonderland and ended up doing scientific experiments on the Red Queen with the different items you can drink and eat.

For the role swap of Rapunzel, since the story line we know where she gets kidnapped by Mother Gothel I imagine in this universe where Rapunzel was filled with greed & hatred toward her parents casting their own daughter out of the castle for the sake of the kingdom. As the good version mother gothel confronts her, she’s trying to persuade rapunzel that it’s all a misunderstanding or something simillar but Rapunzel would rather take the throne to herself and take over the kingdom as the rightful princess of the kingdom that her father and mother left behind and it’ll be whatever it takes for her to get what she wishes
My fan theory is that she’s going to make her drink stuff like she didn’t make her small
