That’s an incredible sacrifice especially in the world we live in. There is nothing more powerful than falling in love with our Lord Jesus Christ. With her union and acceptance of this Sisterhood she can now pray for others to follow the same calling.
What a vocation!!! to give your life as a bride of Christ. Remember to live a holy life, He is by your side every moment and Our God the Father thinks about us like sand on the sea shore. Trust in Him and think Of him. St Therese help and pray for Renee to be a holy nun
Thank you for sharing this touching and inspiring pictorial and video essay! May God strengthen and bless Renee and all the holy sisters of our Lady of Carmel!
Me encanta mucho verlo. Aunque el mundo esta cambiyado mucho, hay jovenes que estan respondiendo al senro! Long live Carmel. Our prayers to Hna Rene! @Desde India.
I will pray for you. May you receive many blessings on your Vacation journey. You will make a excellent Sister. Thank for your own life. Beening a bride of Christ. Like Mary our dear Mother answering God call. Best Wishes
Their numbets look good and quite a few are young. Sadly a Poor Clare monastery that I was associated with for some years was reduced to four elderly nuns. The joined another comunity and their monastery was demolished. It had lasted just over a hundred years from building to demolition. So sad.
Amen
Merci beaucoup! I translated your kind message and will tell Renee. God bless you. Are you in France? Here is the English: Thank you Renée for saying “yes” to our dear Holy Trinity with Mother Mary, the angels and all the saints! Thank you for giving the Lord your youth. You bring him such great joy. Jesus needs your love so much so that you live in his Will..... Thank you, thank you, thank you for the gift of your life. Amen
hello, i would like to know, where is this Carmel? I feel called to religious life but i don't know if i'm called to apostolic of contemplative life, and in my country it's very rare to have any postulant or even novices!
We are in Arkansas, the southern part of the US. Where are you? You can see our web address in the video description. God bless you, and may He guide you in His holy direction!
Not yet. That will be after their postulant year when they become novices and receive the habit. We'll keep you posted for that, if you pray for their perseverance! God bless you, thanks for watching.
This is awesome and I am so happy to see that, but at the same time I think it would be wiser to wait with posting this until after the perpetual vowes. The postulants enter in to decide whether they want to lead this life or not, postulants, novices etc. are still free to leave. Video clips like this and plenty of positive comments may cloud the young girls judgement and they may feel a lot of more pressure to stay in so that they don’t disappoint the viewers, once they should only focus on reading the God’s will towards them. I wish Rene all the best, whether she decides to do the perpetual vowes or not ❤️
Smile. I like that! Actually, it is said that when we receive the habit and veil it is like our bridal gown. And we get to wear it everyday! God bless you!
As a kid I lived in a migrant town in the canefields. Along with friends we would watch what went on after dark in a convent boarding school. It would creep most people out to know the absolute truth of such places back in the sixties. Servants of God my arse. Exactly the opposite was the truth.
Non c'est vieux. Des mêmes hommes de couleurs donnent aux bonnes soeurs afin d'en avoir qu'une de couleur noire dans les ordres en France. Que cela cesse car les bonnes soeurs ont un salaire et pas toutes le même. ⚖️🇫🇷⬜
jane...there are millions of way to serve the Lord.. When someone receives this special call, it is a desire to pray for the world, and in response to a love for God and the world which is only satisfied by that life...We all believe that you should follow your heart. And of course this way of life only makes sense if someone believes in prayer .Sisters called to cloistered life, feel so freed to accomplish their dream of living a life of prayer for us all. i hope this helps a l ittle. I entered an active order, but I understand the pecial call to enter a life of prayer in community... and give one's every day to prayer...Sister Wendy Cotter csj🌹🌹💟💟
Prayers for you, Renee and congratulations on your vocation. Thank you for choosing to serve!

Have Rene and Angelica received religious names?

I would love to be a Carmelite nun, but I'm overage.
God bless you Renee may our Lord make your new path in life a happy and contented one. 🎉
Thank you for sharing this video. May the Lord bless Renee and all the sisters.

C’est comme aller à un mariage…ça vaut la peine de s’habiller chic pour l’accompagner!

To all who read this, please pray for the Maori people of New Zealand 🙏

Looks like they don't get many novices, most of the sisters looked at least middle aged or senior.

YOU'LL BE SORRY!!😮😅😊😢
Truly sad, but it’s her life and her loss.
What a waste of your life
Why would you do this? There are millions of ways to serve the Lord outside this cult.

Look up the word for the meaning of cult and the hallmarks of a cult.
