Battling Crowds At Currumbin Alley

In today's Video, we battle against the large crowds of Currumbin Alley, dodging swimmers, surfers, rocks and even surfboards. nearly being hit in the head by multiple different boards. after all this, we scored an awesome session loaded with many fun waves.

Hey Casey, do you have any tips for surfing larger steeper waves? I’ve Been learning heaps this winter with the bigger swells but I still have a lot to learn I wipe out almost all the time haha, I know about angling the surfboard but is there any other tips that would be helpful?

Hey copper, I do have some tips, when surfing steeper waves you need to put more weight on your back foot so you don’t nose dive as well as take off on the wave a bit later I would say because you can catch the wave at a lower point so you don’t get caught up on the lip.
