They are very similar dungeon universals, League of Dungeoneers, and dungeon crusade are those old school sandbox games. Personally this is my favorite one. 😃😃👍

Yay Folklore crossover! Well done, great video. I am waiting for my copy to arrive but it is taking way too long. Cant wait for more episodes. I just wish this game had more artwork on cards etc. Especilally the main map is soooo dull:(
It does have some feel to folklore for sure. I feel the characters are more personal. I hope you get your copy soon. I heard rumors that more art is being added in the reprint but I could be wrong. 😃😃👍
Man, there is sooooo much going on here. All those charts and dice rolling reminds me of D100 Dungeon, but even worse. I like the story elements, but that combat looks too fiddly for my tastes.
Nice one Bairnt, looks fun. If you thought the cost of rations was expensive, you should try living in England atm. Every time I go back to the settlement the cost of rations have gone up again! lol The settlement phase reminds me of Shadows of Brimstone which is cool, but if you don't get enough cash from a mission it can really set you back and you start a downward spiral...or is that just me playing badly? lol I see that there is already a 2nd edition on the way, already! Looking forward to the next episode!

I found the scenario description for setup lacking. I was not sure which tiles or how many to use. Such a simple thing that should not require me to go look up example videos to figure out.
Combat reminds me of Folklore, which I really disliked. Do you heal between fights? That's another thing I hated in Folklore. Regardless, thanks for showing us how it works.
It is similar to folklore the melee combat. One difference is that your abilities are not locked behind “power points”. Some need energy points but at least your passive powers are fun. You can rest in the wilderness or in town each day to get back 2d6 hp but your. Don’t heal between battles unless you use bandages potions, or spells hope that help thanks for the great comment Kevin 😃😃👍
At around the 30 minute mark, I’m pretty sure your wizard missed. I know there’s controversy over the percentile dice… but the ‘0’ on the one’s dice is actually a 10. Possible rolls are 1-10. The tens dice is 0-90. So a 60 + 0 is actually 70. A 00 + a 0 is actually 10. (Not zero)
This is Mike, not Bairnt, and I haven’t played this game, but is that really how they chose to do it? Because that’s backwards from how every other board game and RPG with percentile dice does it. That would be so weird!!!

Yes the wizard does he only gets the bonus after defeating 5 of them

That’s a great question I don’t know where that came from. The map is only about 2.5 feet X 2.5 feet. Approximately. Hope that helps thanks Aaron😃😃👍
