You made a good day out of challenging conditions Rob. Having the confidence to move is so important. I like to have a good, highish background to keep my silhouette better hidden. Another great hide and great shooting sealed the deal👍👍 The pie looked amazing too😋 Thanks for posting!
Absolutely Mark, wasn’t the easiest or most successful but a great day all the same! 😁 that will do the trick for sure mate. The pie was bloody lovely too 😁 thanks again 👍
I live in West Sussex, what is the best way of trying to get an opportunity to shoot on farmers land? Is there a website or just a case of contacting lots of farms and asking.
Have a look to see if you have any pigeon clubs locally, I have just joined one myself in Essex after not being able to get any permission on farms myself
@@simonburch8762 a friend of a friend put me in contact, they have rights to about 12 different farms maybe more all in my local, you might be able to ask at any local gunshops or shooting ranges/clay grounds
That’s a great idea from Jake 👍 unfortunately a lot of permissions come from asking asking and more asking. I haven’t got a lot myself but when you get a bit, do a good job of controlling the pests and letting the farmer know and it will lead to more permissions 👍
Farmer doesnt mind you trapsing over wheat.
You make shooting look so easy😊 what cartridges do you use?
Oh I’m very good at missing too at times 🤣 but I have shot a lot over the years! Eley Select 6 30g fibres 👍
@@fieldsportswithspeed we all do🤣 cant wait for your next video, allways a good day when it pops up😀😀👍👍

The birds that are shot and come down in the wheat, are they just left?
Nope, picked most of them. It wasn’t too thick
Rain...mind I had two in three hours Sunday, then it went mad for an hour and twenty two fell. So I smiled a bit more.
Nice one Jon! Always worth giving it a go, if didn’t stop these birds flying in the rain! Glad you had a good one 👍
