- 2:40 was an interesting encounter we had after we fueled up from our first landing, and getting an elim on likely bots. This pair we met on the bridge, however, were real LOL. I saw the Spiderman on the right as I was driving and called him out, but no sooner had I parked to start shooting at him as he went up the crane, then his partner Batman came FLYING over the bridge above us with HIS car LOL. Needless to say, things went down and I guess Spiderman thought he would splash into the water, but hit the bottom instead lol. We hung around looting, and somehow found 4 more folks to elim while there, eventually leaving the bridge at 6:00
From there we went and got the satellite for ourselves, took out a lone person at a shrine, and made our way to seaport city since it was a good place usually for some height. We spotted some people and also got some footsteps when we landed up top at 9:30, but they eventually took off in a car while avoiding us.
After hanging around there for quite awhile, we moved on at 11:45 and decided to take a chance with going up to beat the boss on the island, after hiring a NPC, since nobody was there and it was 15 people left. So at 13:15 we started taking him out. We had one person who tried to get us down when we were looting the boss, with their typhoon blade, but they got down to low health before they went to fly off the island.
We stuck around on the island for awhile longer since we clearly had the medallion and it was high ground, so no need to go down and get involved in anything while we also some shooting going on. Eventually at 16:15 we decided we'd go for the new rings high ground on the snow mountains. Well, no sooner had we landed then absolute chaos erupted since people saw our medallion, so I'm guessing a car and SUV DUO came at us and perhaps one other team tried to get to us as well with a red car. We were all over the mountain and had moved into the tunnels to keep our sightline more contained. Eventually we beat the car duo that came from the red car at 18:00 right as the ring came on our back, I think thanks in part to our NPC actually being useful and flipping the car with explosive grenades perfectly LOL. That left it at 8 people left.
From here I decided to dump the shogun x medallion so we could go to next ring easier across the mountain without being spotted by whoever was left, but it didn't much matter as two teams quickly got put down before we got far, and the team who won among those three we had to fight at 18:40
THANKFULLY my buddy managed to evade the enemy team down the hill, 'cus they quickly hurt his health bar, and I downed one person that was chasing him, while his partner locked onto our NPC on the hill with me after that, with his sword, and I could eliminate him with my "honor and style" of the kinetic blade at 19:18 lol!
SO, just one person left. Our first thought was to check the bushes we saw in front of us for any sign of him as we moved up, but as we were looking at the second one, the solo guy shot at my buddy from another bush way further away. He tried to peak out and got domed again super fast. Luckily we had enough time to revive before the guy made his way over to us. I almost flubbed it when I was trying to swap weapons to my kinetic blade and kept trying to mash the dash attack while he was slicing me and not seeing I had not swapped properly, but thankfully we managed to overcome it with a little shooting effort between player distraction. Not sure how we managed to make it that far with everything that happened, but we'll take the win with 14 elimns by finish.
