What does it mean to take up your cross daily ??
Debbie “dying to self.” It’s a call to absolute surrender. After each time Jesus commanded cross bearing, He said, “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?” (Luke 9:24-25).

I needed to hear this, even if it’s 4 years later. I prayed to work in full-time ministry my whole life. I had such passion for God’s house. I’d even volunteer during the week consistently. After a few months of volunteering, the church hired me. Opening the offer letter was honestly such an amazing moment for me. That was just over a year and a half ago and I now find myself frustrated and complaining to myself way more than I should. Thank you for this message, I needed to remember WHO I’m doing it for ❤
