Congrats on the great video man. I have a male recessive pied just like the female recessive pied in the video(with white cheeks too) what would the babies be like if he mated with a yellowface and lutino? Does anyone have a solid guess?
I breeded a blue berry female with yellow budgie who has some green and very light purple cere and i was surprises with the outcome one of the breed is white lutino with red eye
I don't know if they have a color similar to calico but in syrian hamsters if you breed a calico to a wild type pattern you get black hamsters with two orange spots on their butt and in guppies you get a half black endler so I'm just theorizing if you play with normal colors with anything brown and black and orange you might get something cool.
Depends. If one is olive (the very dark green) and the other is light green, the babies will be dark green. All of them. In most other cases (save for maybe a green with a double violet or double dominant grey factor bred to a regular light green), it will be 50/50.
Uh-huh. About that first pair: The "female light green NORMAL" is most definitely a spangle. The colors might be off in the pic, but she looks more like a cinnamon (brown markings instead of black). For a cinnamon "light green", she is too dark. Which is where the DARK green offspring got its dark factor from. And while the result is mostly correct, with a larger number of offspring, it should be around 43% for dark green and sky-blue each, as well as 7% for light green and cobalt (due to genetic linkage and crossing-over). The TCBxred eyed numbers are off from what they should be in theory, but, well, with a small sample size, that's bound to happen.
Most likely 75-90% skyblue and 10-25% albino. All your females will be skyblye like the father while your males will be split between daddy and mommy equally.
@@AbrarulHassannn Bro I even have onother doubt . I bought a adult pair budgies. For past 5months it doesn't lay egg. Still it is affraid even while keeping food / water .what to do?
Sorry but the spangle pairing is incorrect - a double factor spangle will remove all body colour and leave you with a base white or yellow bird without the red eye of the ino, and with two visual spangle parents (meaning they're single factor), you are going to have 25% double factor spangle - being yellow(green) or white(blue) WITHOUT red eyes, and no wing/head markings, 50% single factor spangle - visually 'a spangle' like the parents, and 25% non-spangle. I hope this info helps anyone looking to breed spangle, because it caught me off-guard, and made me take spangle out of my first breeding flock because I found it too hard to keep track of at that stage
Great video - thanks for sharing 👏😉🦜

Does that mean if I have a pair that are of two different shades of green, it’s 50/50 of chicks being either parent colour?
It will be beautiful mix colour baby
