Have a simple question of stomata. I thought there are only gases transferred through stomata, but you said it prevents from losing the water of the plant. Where does the water come from? Since the water moves through xylem? Thanks!! 😊
@@leahw7558 Cells make up all parts of the leaf and plant, similar to how bricks are used to build a house. You have certain kinds of bricks that are used to build the foundation, a smooth better-looking kind to build walls because people will see them, other kinds for the chimney, etc. Cells are similar; they have some things in common but they also can have certain different characteristics depending on what job they're doing. In this video, each cell type is drawn in a different color and they are slightly differently shaped to allow them to do their jobs. Hope this helps! Love, BOGO
