The newest one called me the other day stating my EBAY account has been hacked, I knew he was a scammer because I don’t use EBAY, BUT I played with him for over a hour pretending to be the daughter of a rich oil baron in Texas, omg, he wanted me to date him and asked me what’s my favorite jewelry? Jeeze they really are clueless to education and common sense, I wish I knew how to record the whole thing, I’m completely dumb when it comes to technology, I’m just don’t use it like others do. Anyway it was great, he still text me, and I blocked him.
Patti, be careful, especially if you are not good at the technology bit. I am hopeless at tech, so I would only engage with them in a limited way. Besides, I hate talking to them knowing that they would rob me of every penny that I have given half a chance.

I’ve got a call this past week from a man claiming to be a police officer and that I didn’t show up to jury duty so I have three arrest warrants for my arrest. He wanted me to go to the grocery store and buy gift cards to pay him. I asked him why can’t I just go pay it since the police dept is closer than the grocery store. He started yelling that if I did, I’d be taken into custody immediately since I hadn’t paid. I told him I would just take the gift cards and my husband would take them in so I’m not arrested. He was so angry. I finally hung up on him. Lol. It was a lot of fun.

I ran my own computer repair shop years ago. I haven't looked into deleting their files because the tech scammers call me and they know too much of my info to mess with them to that degree. If I ever get around to hiding my IP then I may call them and have some fun with that. Animation takes most of my time.
