I'm no expert on juniper but I think that juvenile foliage appears after the foliage itself is pruned and since I only manipulated the main trunk I don't anticipate the growth of juvenile foliage. I'm really not concerned though. My track record on growing juniper has been so dismal over the years that I'm just happy that I've been able to keep them alive and healthy for two years!

Thanks. I have a Juniper Procambus. The temperature at my area is now 7 Celcius above zero . Can I root prune and report it now ?
I would wait until the temp gets above freezing and that there's no or very little threat of subsequent freezes.
