Gavin played almost perfectly. He should have gone for the hat game instead of trying to buy a star. If he had, he would have won. Which shows a distinct difference in the groups play styles: Micheal is strategic, Gavin is reckless, Ryan is (oddly) reactionary, and Jeremy is opportunistic. This is why Micheal wins so often, and also why it's often so close between him and either Gavin or Jeremy: Micheal plays it safe, which often has a lower yield, but is more consistent. Gavin takes huge risks, and gets huge rewards, but also huge losses. Jeremy capitalizes on his opponents slip-ups, but when they don't slip up, he tends to fall behind. Ryan typically just responds to the game, and so doesn't use it to the best of his ability. It's often a matter of luck, but the strategies of each player makes a huge difference.
Tristan Lawhorn this needs to be at the top. Everyone complains about Michael but his play style isn't his fault. A great example of his overall play style is doing the jackpot game but only at a cost of 5 coins. Smart evaluation!
Great analysis, but remember: Michael is only allowed to have a consistent, tactical playstyle because he is so good at the minigames and evaluating the board. So really, he wins because... He's more skilled 😂

In his defense, every possible thing went wrong: he landed on the red just before the star, he lost the minigame, Michael took 10 coins from him AND got the action space on the last turn to get two bonus stars. It really didn't look like it mattered where he went on that fork in the road.

Super unpopular opinion here, but I don't mind that Michael wins nearly every time they play this. Regardless of if he wins or loses, I actually enjoy smug Michael, ditto for smug Gav, Jeremy, and Ryan. I just enjoy watching them fuck each other over, have amazing luck, or shoot themselves in the foot while playing. I watch it for each turn and the hilarity that ensues, not for who wins. Team Nice Dynamite got me into AH, and Battle Buddies quickly became my second favourite, so while watching these, I don't give a rats ass who wins, because I love everyone in these and I love how salty they get towards each other as the game goes on. That said, I'd love to see Jeremy playing as Boo again sometime soon and sweep the floor so that Boo can finally have his day XD

They need someone that can like knock Michael down a peg in the mini games because it isn't even fair at this point, unless it is a mini game that is up to chance and even then the game regularly favors him.
His luck in these is just insane. Even the earlier videos. Gets the good shrooms, got some pretty good rolls and then the luck base games he does well. And this is ignoring the fact he is good at the mini games. So he already had the skills, but then lady luck is just blowing him as well
Every time they talk about Mario party when it's just Michael/Lindsay/Gavin/Meg, Michael wins 90% of the time and they bring it up often every time they talk about playing at home.

I answered " no, definitely not interested" since then every advertisement before a video has been an uneskipable 30 second trailer for that new pacific rim movie, before I might have seen it for curiosity's sake. now? For future reference the red orb floaty spaces don't affect the player who placed it, but if the player who placed it lands on the space it negates the affect for people cross the space while they are on it.
