- New Manchester City striker Erling Haaland insists he does not feel any pressure joining the Premier League champions.
The Norway international, one of the hottest young prospects in Europe, left Borussia Dortmund for City - the club his father Alf Inge previously played for - in a deal worth £51million.
But despite the expectation the forward, who turns 22 next week, intends to enjoy himself.

I am beyond excited for Erling. Ever since his breakout season at Salzburg, i always thought he would be perfect for the PL and for City due to his personal connection to the club. Cannot wait to see how he gets on and praying he stays healthy.

He didn’t say he predicted the move he said he always thought he’d be a good PL player learn to read before being a dick about it. Many people knew of haaland in his Salzburg days, scored against Liverpool at anfield in the champions league so it doesn’t make you mystic fucking Meg to predict he might be a Pl player one day.
He's definitely a top professional and he deals with the media intelligently, he has all the qualities to be and stay on the pinnacle of football for many years 😉 He's good for City and City is good for him.

What's makes you in infer that?
It's really just an average conversation with a Norwegian. It's similar to working in a lab. You have to somehow move and talk in a way that does not inspire the chimp to eat the crayons and throw feces at you. Auguring the subtle signs that the experiment is over is the key here, and to living in Norway. When politeness turns into time consuming and empty pleasantries, out comes the feces and there goes another box of crayons.
Start the question right away would be my advice. No preambles, no history lessons. He already knows all that and will become cranky if you keep telling him things he already knows.
PS: I'm Norwegian. I know these things. If anyone gets offended by my analysis you can send them to me. I always have my feces at hand. You never know when someone intends to waste your time. Always be prepared!

Haaland was autrian player of the season at 19, Bundesliga player of the season at 20 and uefa Champions league top goal scorer at 20 with 10 goals, a number not many strikers have breached. This guy is a once in a generation talent man. The only thing which will stop haaland is injuries otherwise he will destroy every record in sight.

Absolute top top mindset and so focused, this guy will take over the premier league if he avoids injuries which I think he will due to City having so much depth, they don’t actually have to start him every game and can give him the rest required
I really can't see him scoring any less than 20 goals and that is the lower conservative threshold. He will be backed by the best midfield in PL and arguably in the world. So it will be extremely difficult for him not to score.

@@Michael020 missed an important context there: 22 in 24 matches (out of 34). He was injured for significant latter part of season. Look at 20-21 season stats where he still played 28 (in regular season out of 34) but scored 39 in regular season, CL and domestic cups.

Career mode in Fifa stopped being challenging when you have Haaland in your team. Thought it would be fun to try, so I transferred him to City. Finished the season with him having scored 90 goals and putting on 55 assists. 55 goals in the PL alone, as well as 17 in CL.
Think I'll start going for playing with lesser teams now lol

@Cian Its pretty obvious that we needed an out-and-out goal scorer up front, not a 100m creative forward. I also felt like the left back position was vulnerable as it has been for many years. It's obvious City would be fighting for it, but I also knew there would be dry patches which would cost points (Grealish 3g/3a in the league) It also cost us making the CL final because we couldnt finish clear chances. So I wasn't wrong was I?? All of those things were an issue. I guess you've just decided to be a City fan with your 2 month old account? Haha plastics like you make me laugh. Don't try and lecture me mate, I was here when we were shit, you're just a bandwagon fan.
