As always, I get great enjoyment from you. I highly appreciate you & your content. You rock dude! (Even though your hard-on USA🇺🇸, but then again, so is the rest of the world, including myself/even though I wasn't born in the USA)
Hello, Alfie Aesthetics. I like all the videos made by you that I have watched so far (I have watched more than fifteen of them) I like specially the series of videos you have dedicated to celestial navigation. Your videos are very well organized, etc. From my point of view, you have shown that you are a professional youtuber. "A crack", in other words. Since you have written that your subscribers can make suggestions about ideas for more videos, my suggestion is the following: + “The Milky Way” as a device for celestial navigation and a means of locating useful constellations. I mean that “The Milky Way” [also known as “The Spilled Breastmilk”] has been used in order to find important constellations (from the Northern Celestial Pole to the Southern Celestial Pole). Imagine that you are lost in the wilderness at night and you can see the night sky showing all its magnificence (even the weakest star lights appear above you). It would be useful to know how to use “The Milky Way” in order to find important constellations [Those constellations can then be used in order to find the direction towards the North and South] For example, > In the Northern Hemisphere * “Cassiopeia” has “The Milky Way” as a background. *Part of the "Summer Triangle" has “The Milky Way” as a background. * As far as I am concerned, pilgrims throughout Europe used “The Milky Way” as a Celestial Navigation device in order to find (follow) the way to Santiago de Compostela (that is situated in the North-western corner of the Iberian Paeninsula). They made such a journey on foot (with a lot of patience…, of course) > On the Equator: * Part of the "Winter Triangle" has “The Milky Way” as a background. > In the Southern Hemisphere * The same happens with “Sagitarius” (The Archer) * “The Scorpion” has “The Milky Way” as a background. * “The Great Ship Argo” almost seems to follow “The Milky Way” as if it were a white river, so to speak. * Last, but not least, “The Southern Cross” and the pointers (which form part of the constellation of “The Centaur”) have “The Milky Way” as a background. [Once upon a time in which the constellation of “The Southern Cross” was considered a leg of the Constellation of “The Centaur”] I hope that this suggestion (A video about “The Milky Way” as a device of Celestial Navigation and as a means of locating useful constellations) [ and the ideas related to it] help you make a good video. That is to say, another good video as the ones you usually make. One of the Sky maps I have consulted has the following reference (or name) in the internet: The Ancient Greek Sky tumblr_mcbaof6Dyw1qbh26io1_1280.png I think that you will agree with me that “The Spilled Breastmilk” is a good topic (and title) for a video in youtube. Ja, ja, ja! :D In my opinion, you have the ability, experience and other qualities that are necessary to make a video of that kind. You have shown that you are able to combine serious data (knowledge) and entertainment in order to make a useful and interesting video. What do you think about that? Changing now the first topic of this message, I would like to ””talk”” about the following idea related to Celestial Navigation [I read the following piece of information in a book that is a sky atlas]: It is possible to use two stars < a and ß > of the Square of the constellation of Pegasus (The Winged Horse) in order to find the star Polaris [ In fact, that line is a continuation of the very same line that is used with “The Great Dipper” (“Ursa Maior) in order to find the star Polaris]. That same line can be prolonged towards the south in order to find the star named “Fomalhaut” in the Southern Hemisphere. Thank you very much for making and uploading so many good videos. I would like you to answer to this message and tell me your opinion about the suggestions that have been written here. I am looking forward to reading (hearing, etc.) your response. You can take your time, of course. Thank you for reading this message (or comment). It is so long that one has to read it step by step. Peace and best wishes.
Amazing! Just amazing! Every video that I watch so far is so thorough and amazingly easy to understand. To top it off, you are awesomely hilarious. Peace! From Singapore, about 1 degree North of the Equator, Ayat
Ive always just went with the big dipper "ursa major" and the little dipper "ursa minor" to find the north star its been interesting to see other ways of finding it.
Alfie, just found you man. So refreshing from all the dudes in bow ties drawing their shit on whiteboards and confusing the hell out of me. Cheers muchly😃😃✨
Today I saw three stars forming and moving one behind one from eastward to northward and then form a equilateral triangle and then disappear one by one
I don't understand why some people (6 people) indicate that they don´t like this video about "The Summer Triangle" as a means of celestial navigation in order to find North [the star Polaris] (in the Northern hemisphere) In my opinion, they should (at least) write a comment to indicate what they think that can be improved or changed in this video. That is to say, they should share their suggestions. Maybe, they don´t like the sense of humor shown in this video (but I don´t know whether that is the case) I think that the sense of humor shown in this video is well chosen as an ingredient in order to make the topic of the video more entertaining. That is my point of view.
I know more about space then about anyone in my middle school, and I’m learning constellations I never heard about. Do you have lessons that I can go to?
AlfieAesthetics Hello, AlfieAesthetics. What do you think about making a video indicating how to use the Milky Way in order to find important constellations that help in celestial navigation? Thank you very much for your videos. They are very entertaining and useful.

Of course you can . As long as it's packed up as part of your equipment. It's a tool, a bit like you mate😁😉. I think you'll find most campers, hikers and even your elderly ramblers will carry a knife, probably not a bk chopper though.good bit of advise..... You don't want to be brandishing it down the high street...... or in Sainsbury's...... or the pub😂
Hey I've been watching your videos for quite awhile now and I've grown really interested in outdoor hiking/ survival and camping. I have a project I need to do to graduate high school and I wanted to do mine on outdoor survival and things along the line. I wanted to know If I could use a few videos as examples/ references. If it's okay or you want to know more about it just message me or something -MrReaperscreepers (Zak)
All the stars at night are big & bright 👏👏👏 deep in the heart of Texas.

Ptolemy's Cluster in Scorpius peaks in midnight sky around the June solstice, while Betelgeuse in Orion around the December solstice.
