MrRE3Nemesis In your opinion, sure, but for me, BTTF was a genuine blast and remains my favorite attraction in Universal’s history. I’m no fan of simulators but BTTF was the pinnacle of that kind of attraction. You were seeing footage projected at 70mm IMAX, the highest quality of projection format, filmed with 65mm IMAX cameras, the highest quality filming format, with extensive use of practical effects and scale models that took hours to perfect and can’t be outdated, unlike The Simpsons Ride’s CGI. Doc Brown and Biff Tannen doing what they do best, the theming of entering an institute was just enveloping, and just the overall craziness of the experience made the ride itself worth the price of admission. I look at The Simpsons Ride and Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and I fail to see any kind of that level of craftsmanship. Both aren’t funny nor charming, it’s just boring CG, and I’ve never felt immersed for one second because you can’t compare CG cartoon with real models that are filmed in perspective to make them seem life sized. Now it’s gone forever, and the only way to experience it is low quality TH-cam uploads. If you disagree, be my guest, but please understand my disappointment in Universal.

I agree with everything said! But on a side note... the only way to experience it isn't just low quality videos. The pre-ride and ride footage is also on some home release versions of Back to the Future.
