Thanks for the guide man. Pretty much brand new to the game with less than 30 hours. Have had some success in shitter squire gear PvP, but anything past it, I get absolutely smoked. I didn't really know how to put a good kit together, but I'm gonna focus on all the stats you showed! Also, I'll be trying to get some troll kills because that looked insanely easy to replicate. Appreciate you, bro! This game can be pretty daunting as a complete noob.
Nice guide! Would like to see some guide that helps how you can tell which items to pick and which to leave behind. I mean equipment wise, not treasure-wise :)
Giving me the confidence to try out Cave Troll. I can kill all minibosses already and did kinda ok in inferno too. Probably gonna die, but it's all a learning experience.
fwi circling right is not the only way to dodge ai, circling left will work on all ai he talked about, don’t let worrying about circling right get you killed
Just got myself Occultist boots 5 ms 2 agi for 150g what a steal , watching those guides or any class guide shows me how crazy expensive some items really are lol. Will prob try some solo lock thanks to you

@@SirSmoken What if you're a longsword chad and know how to parry, is the 15 str from sac not actually really good damage-wise? To buff yourself I mean. Or do you think your opponent will see you self-casted sac and just not engage for 12 seconds?
@@SlCKNESS_ yeah I mean if you want to it’s up to you. A good player would probably just run away from you that point. But if you get a curse off on them then the sac won’t do as much damage
I’d say warlock counters Druid the most because one curse of pain stops them from turning rat form. Flamewalker stops them from getting close to you in rat. Only thing that would be scary is a full agi Druid using panther and you get caught off guard
I’ve been playing warlock for awhile but how can I possibly kill a magic based speed cleric? They’re hitting 320 ms, even with full true and ad I can’t do any damage, curses last like 2 seconds it counters you to the point they can w you with no fear. It’s the only thing I consistently die to

I’m not too familiar with trios tbh but warlock is pretty much its own unit so I’d say playing a frontline using your hydra to clear space for your team and once you are about to be in danger after spamming curses you phantomize and fall back so an actual frontline like barb or fighter or bard even can takeover and clean up while you go to a more annoying back line dps
Imo this guide is slightly wrong in a solo perspective of a player that doesn’t know how to properly play warlock. If you play solo, you want 310 move speed. That’s it. Knowledge is important but if you are too slow, you’ll just get killed by any barb or fighter, hence throwing your 650gold kit through the window. In trio cast speed is much more important though. With enough move speed you can keep the spacing between you and ennemies and that’s the only way to survive for caster warlock. Bolt of darkness, nope. Get Dark Reflection and Soul Collector. First fighter coming up to you, he will be hit by over 50 damage.
nah i'm not telling people that don't know how to kite properly to take off your clothes and hope to not get 1 tapped. Need some sort of foundation for people to learn properly. Then once they get more confident they will understand those things.
Yes. Flame walk in 3’s does as much harm to your team as it does to the enemy team. In 2’s it’s not bad, you just have to communicate with your duo and be smart with how you use it.
@@socjocinus gotta give some sort of framework for people to feel more confident jumping in to practice. Move speed is the most important stat in the game but it’s hard to focus getting to 310-315 as a caster when it’s more important to get knowledge and damage at the beginning. knowledge, true mag damage, max hp, then your will/magic power bonus would be last priority. Magic healing scales like dookie even in my best kits I usually have 6 max cause I’m not using the occultist hood as it makes you slower for barely no reason. Stay tuned for the next one
@@iKawf not my fault you don’t clear with hydra, that you waste your phantomize, and stay in melee range of classes, or get quick shot by rangers. sounds like a massive skill issue because warlock played well is nigh unkillable!
FYI: 1 Agi does not relate to 1 MS anymore as stated at 6:33. 2 Agi = 1 MS.
That's why flat MS is the better stat these days.
FYI uncommon rawhides still give 3 knowledge (have less resourcefulness than rare) so even more budget friendly
