spent my 21st birthday sleeping at the dorm in the squaters of Malate hahaha. until late afternoon, the landlady woke me up, shouting from downstairs, said some friends were looking for me. i didn't know any of my friends knew abt my address. but a month ago someone asked where in Taft i was renting because she's helping a friend look for a place nearby as well. that's just their alibi to get my address. it was a month ago so i didn't know it was for my bday surprise. lmao. it's gloomy that day i couldn't easily get up. i was still lying on my bed messy as someone without a plan for a day, i heard my friends walking up to my room singing happy birthday. i was shookedt because i was only wearing boxers and they're recording video already. it was hilarious. my day turned from zero to hundreds. we spent the rest of the day pigging out around La Salle taft and booze til late night.
We were very lucky to reach 18, now i am 56. I spent it with my 2 high school classmates just watch movie and we ate in a dimsum resto. It was heaven for me.

I remember my 18th bday my friends surprised me with a very small party jjust for the 7 of us after school. When I got home that night none of my family greeted me.. they didn't know I just turned 18!! Mom and dad was not home my brother is with his friends and I only have my little sissy in the house my my uncle.. I am browsing this bec I'm about to surprise my daughter a party when she did not ask for it.. she's very practical but I want her to experience it.. just sharing sorry guys! 💕💙
Florida Lugtu omg same! None of my family greeted me on my 18th birthday..and I was happy that I have friends who always got my back. Now, I'll be a mom soon and I promise that I'll make sure that no birthdays will be forgotten.
Maybe I won't experience this on my birthday this year.. Still i'll be happy with my family.. but that doesn't stop me for dreaming of a debut like this for my one year old sister.
