The more and more i watch this. The more I have time to break it down to this
1. Konkrete got the win because a non Krumper called him out and tried to kill him to his music. Now had he called him out and used his own music. This maybe could've been a good battle. But you picked the wrong one and the wrong music.
2. The message in their dance. Konkrete had the most conviction in his dance because you could make it what he was talking to gold about. He straight told that man "I hate you" and then brutalized him both rounds. Gold did a bunch of flashy movements but wasn't saying much other than "hey I found all the beats guys. Look at this" and that's not enough.
No need for a third. Just lnow konkrete has made his own lane and his own name in this dance and you better be on your a game before going at him.

Savage Lands 512 agreed but as a fellow NorCal Sacramento local not being biased and watched the video knowing konkrete has other styles in his arsenal. gold is dope but he doesn’t know how to manipulate the crowd and his kill offs weren’t battle material. He accents the beat well and has control but it wasn’t enough to battle even if it was another style. Maybe a freestyler he would do damage for sure or a different dancer. The odds weren’t in his favor and konkrete had the upper hand by setting the bar in the 2nd round.

Yes there is no question hands down konkrete won, might have gone different to another track but this battle isn't debatable. Gold was dope was konkrete was just better in this battle.

@@notkuf jabs, arm swings, stomps and chest pops. Those are the basic foundations, then you add, material, concepts, storytelling, invisible props, jerk body moves, transfers, footwork, and there are many others. Krump is a culture, but that doesn't mean that expressing is separate from dancing

Konkrete killed him off, and gold just was saying shit about dancing to the music when you don't have to dance to the music 24/7 it's all about the feeling and the buck and get off, and yes musicality does have a factor in that but musicality isn't krump. Konkrete killed him off with the buck and feeling, gold just was talking and was only feeling the music not the movement.
DexFroZen these were my thoughts when watching this too. Gold was to caught up with only focusing on musicality....that’s a trap for a dancer if they let it be. If gold was really listening he would see konkretes musicality was actually insaaaane plus he had sooo much other shit. Konkrete maxed him out.
Both of y’all are bugging for real. Don’t get me wrong from a Krump perspective Konkrete was damn near untouchable but unfortunately for him this wasn’t a krump battle! This was a exhibition battle which means all styles. That nigga Gold did more than just “ musicality” he also had character like Konkrete, he also played with levels, texture changes and he mixed the dance styles fluently (very hard to do) y’all need to open y’all eyes and actually watch the dance

From gold I didn’t see one clean jab, and when he got stuck when he was krumping (because he definitely had no material or concepts and you can tell he doesn’t krump often) he would just start doing the same tutting moves. I’m not saying the he’s bad I’m just saying he was out matched

Gold took the win for me. Koncrete was good at being a entertainer and using shock factor/tricks instead of actually dancing to the music. Also the crowd was very biased koncrete could Litterally move his pinky and the crowd gave him love. Gold Litterally flipped on his head and they was dead quiet. Alexander Ramirez He was very impatient during his rounds which gave him a huge disadvantage and made it harder for him to execute his moves and it made him look sloppy overall. He didn't do bad, but the small stuff matters. Timing, patience, foundation, execution, etc. His musicality surpassed his own skill level.

I'm a huge fan of konkrete but overall I'm a huge fan of dancing and both of them did well but if y'all have watched throughout the years y'all would know that konkrete wasn't taking the battle serious until round 2 and even then he wasn't doing what he normally does with kill offs or combos. He was basically labbin. Gold did his thing though. But no way can he beat konkrete yall buggin. Konkrete could've finished him off easily if he wanted to.
