My brother once went to an antique show somewhere in Manhattan with his rare buffalo nickel n Indian head nickel, he was told it was worth 4,000 for just that one nickel. So the longer you keep it the more valuable it becomes.

That is a nice, nice nickel! I have one that I think is really rare? I noticed after overlooking it many times over the years, that it just doesn't shine. The closer I looked, the realization hit me...it has no nickel clad on the front or the back. The edges are nickel but the front and back are...copper I guess? I am wondering what the value might be .. if anyone knows. I don't want to offer it for sale without knowing. Thanks

Where would one go to have their coins looked at? I have a 1920, 1923, 1930, and 2 1935 of these nickels
Are your coins for sale? To have your coins looked at, you need to send them to a grading company. But it costs a lot of money to do that. Make sure your coins are almost or in excellent condition otherwise you will lose your money. It costs $45 or more just to grade one coin and it is very difficult for an old coin to have high grades like 67, 68, 69 and 70 as you have seen in this video.

Is your 1935 Buffalo nickel for sale? For appraisal, you need to send it to a grading company. It will cost you $45 or more just for one coin. Make your coin is really in great shape otherwise you will lose your money with poor grading.

Janice Martz Hi Janice, I know there is a way of making the date visable again once it's worn and it's using a type of acid if I remember correctly, I actually saw the video on TH-cam sometime ago however I've never tried it so have a look on here, you'll find it!
