Stu, this is definitely good coaching! I just found your channel last week and the broom series is a real eye opener. I adopted the stronger grip and was finding that I was hitting out of the toe all the time. Then I found the "You must pull the club" video and it changed my ball strike immediately as long as I rotate like you describe here. After working it out at home for a few days, I took the new swing to the course for the first time today and after the first 9 holes it all started coming together and I had a fantastic back 9. All this to say, I am unsubscribing from all those other golf channels since your teaching is far and away better than those "well known" content creators and they will just mess me up. Thanks coach, I really hope your channel starts getting the visibility that you deserve.
Such wonderful feedback and I’m so thrilled I have grabbed your attention and we can get you playing the golf you deserve my friend. If you have questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to ask and I will always endeavour to help you best I can. Best wishes Stu 😊
Another great video, Stuart. Never thought about how you have very little pressure in your feet if they are rotating. The jumping analogy is excellent when showing how your feet have no rotation when you apply vertical pressure to them. Cheers.
Thanks once again Stu. Great tip. When I revisited some vids of my swing I could see my foot spinning out but it appeared to be post strike. I took this tip to the range and after one practice session where I kept the pressure down in the lead foot I was clearly beginning the spin during the downswing because the results were dramatic. Not sure elvis the pelvis will thank me for it but no pain no gain 😂 brilliant 👏👏
So basically you put pressure down into the left leg early in the back swing then straighten the left leg pushing up through the ground before impact? This opens the hips automatically?
Good coaching, thanks coach. Definitely something to work on, interestingly feel like I'm still pushing with the left foot rather than trying to rotate the hips.
Should be AGC "Awesome Golf Coaching" brilliant video fixed my jamming my left hip left and getting locked and flipping. Of course pulling the club as well. Cheers
Thanks Stuart. I've been going through this experience journey in parallel and therefore can't help but share my thoughts. This is a critical video distinguishing between into the left leg vs clearing left hip. Coupled with pulling the golf club this is the ultimate recipe for consistently good ball striking. Period! Clearing hips requires fitness, I find I end up doing into the left leg as I get tired through the round. However, to its credit this move also does its job and one can get away with it so long as it doesn't turn into a slide. What kills strike is imagining the club head on the ball. Overconfidence makes you imagine clubhead on the ball through funky wrist positions. Poof! There goes the strike. Best just to keep the pull thought and let everything else just happen through the strike. Yes, this is good coaching!
Thank you so so much for sharing your thoughts; find it so enjoyable hearing how you have found your way through the help and advice I’ve passed on. Great to have you as part of the community and look forward to hearing many of your thoughts moving forward! Best wishes Stuart 😊
Think we all need a physics lessson Stuart - concept of creating rotation by vertical force seems analogous to putting where arc is created by vertical movement too - link to forces for gcse physics in my bio 😂😂
I wouldn’t link this with putting Peter, the arc moving up is to do with arm length, angle of spine and the rotation of the chest, not vertical force in the legs. Hope that helps
I enjoyed the video however I feel that more time should have been spent on how the body ( Hip ) motion should work and less time on how it does not work. Thx.
Ah OK - you don’t like my advice. No problem at all Sir, I am very comfortable with my advice not being for everyone. Hope you find what you’re looking for! 😊Best wishes Stu

Great video, so well explained and makes so much sense
Thanks Stu, much appreciated my friend.

Great news Doug! Best wishes Stu

Yes Sir! 😎
I use the analogy of getting the hands close to my belt buckle on the way down and through impact. Gives me that pull left with the club handle
Fantastic Chris / glad you have clarity in what you’re doing 😊
Good coaching, thanks coach. Definitely something to work on, interestingly feel like I'm still pushing with the left foot rather than trying to rotate the hips.
See how you feel after the drill buddy - may create some different sensations 😊

Wet summer here up north
Yeah, been similar down here!

Duly noted for further videos. Many thanks for your feedback. Best wishes Stu 😊
No good do not rotate before you hit the ball , balls fly off the globe , after it is no use you can do what you like
Not quite sure whether you’re critiquing or offering advice. 😂😂
