Installing a 1967-1969 Camaro/Firebird Outer Rocker. I'm Done Cutting The Car Up Time To Rebuild It

- Welcome to my TH-cam channel. This channel is the home for all your vintage Mid-Year Corvette content. In today's video I start rebuilding the 67 Camaro. I took a couple weeks off from TH-cam because it took time to mock this car up correctly to get pieces where they need to be. I am starting from the ground up. The rocker is the foundation to support everything else. That needs to be in the correct spot in order to build the rest of the car the right way. I'm excited to finally start putting stuff on the car. Buckle up because it's going to get good!
I just finished restoring a 1963 Corvette Split Window and I am starting another split window build but this time its a race car build. I will be making videos every Friday. I will be making videos on my 1963 Corvette Split Window, my dad's 1965 Corvette, my race car split window build, my friends 1960 Corvette, and other projects that I find along the way. Let me know what you think about the video. Enjoy!!

Hey there Mitch,
You continue to prove my old Pop's saying ... "you can never have too many clamps!"
I don't know how you do it, but the Camaro seems to be coming back to life. You got skills, my friend.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
Take care,
Dan
Hey Dan! You can never have too many clamps. I have a hard time passing them up at harbor freight. I have a lot of them lol. The Camaro was a good project for sure.
Now I understand why you did'nt brace it . I never commented because you certainly know what you are doing . Thanks for the video and welcome back because you were missed .
Thanks for watching Bob. I tried to brace but there was really nothing to hold in place haha.
Thanks for the video. I have a 69 Z28 that also needs quarters.
Absolutely thanks for watching. Oh no way! A 69 Z28 is a baaaad unit. 1/4’s are definitely a lot of work but well worth it in the end.
Nice job, looks great
Thanks!
Keep at it !
Thanks will do!
Nice work. I see the factory GM traction bar mount.
Thanks I appreciate it. Good eye!
Vise Grips with the U-shaped jaws are perfect for spot welding. You just weld between the gap. I get the off name ones at Menards instead of the vise grip brand. They're about 1/3 the price..... I'm enjoying the build!
I need to get some of those too. I have a wide variety of clamps but I’m lacking those specific ones.
Mitch you have got your hands full. I'm starting to miss my 67RS, I love my Sting Ray but I miss my Camaro. To all you guys that still have your 1st generation Camaros give them a big hug and treat them as good as your Corvettes. How do you do it Mitch, I'd get half finished and find the dreaded extra part. It's looking alot better this week. Get back to work and stay safe.
I definitely did! It was a good project. They are great cars. I can’t wait until it’s road worthy. I was determined to get this car done so it can keep moving forward. But I also have 3 more projects in the Q waiting patiently haha.
✌🏼🍀👍🏼
Thanks Jim
