That looked like a blast, and that fish was cool. I saw that guy on the Outdoor Boys catching them up in Alaska on the fly, too. What a great memory doing the raft!
Not on this trip. I flew in to Anchorage, then drove an hour north to Willow. The river actually flows right behind Adam and Phyllis's house (the people I stayed with). My previous trip there, I tried taking a float plane to the Kenai peninsula, but the weather prevented us from going.

Its hard to film when going into an unknown situation, but I figured the 360 on a 10 foot pole should give me some views they haven't seen yet. I think it turned out great. Thanks Dpuck.

I think that is the first time I ever caught a trout on a fly rod. I have two fly rods, but I usually just use them for panfish.
