First Thank you! Absolutely. The vibe at a table is everything. having dealers on your side actually helps you get away with stuff too... Ex. On my last cruise I played the Hardways every single roll.. without fail. I got a soda from the waiter... I didn't hear the dealer day Hardway back up... Of course the Hardways Hit... But after a simple ask of the pit boss .. he gave me the bet. Without much convincing... I then put them on the Hardways with me.. But gaining that trust goes a long way!
When you’re not shooting, how come you can have place bets working without a pass line bet? I thought you have to put a pass line/DP bet before you can put place bets.. and does this apply for lay bets as well before the point is established? Thanks!
A pass line or don't pass is only required when you are shooting... I never play the Pass unless I have to... However some casinos require you to pay a pass or DP to play the ATS... When that is the case I don't play the ATS... In most cases.
I believe he was only playing a 6& 8 with the point and odds... If I had started with my $220 Inside then spread to the 4/10, I would have made a killing! Made about $500 starting with Only $96 across
I can't bet the ATS without a pass line in my state and every other state i played in. I dont know how you did on the other shooter but it you play a pass line 7 wont kill your ATS on the come out roll and of course you want a craps check
Playing the pass slide is required in a lot of Vegas casinos... Depending on the table minimum, I won't play the ATS if the pass line is required... especially if it is a $25 table... The ATS is a bleed. So if I'm not shooting and it's a $5 min on each ATS bet, I won't play the ATS.
Great video... One bit of criticism though. The 6s hardway set is a terrible set. Why did you switch to it? You were doing so good with the proper hardway set! The best set is the proper hardway sets, 2s, 3, 4s, or 5s, following that, the 3V. I'm not one to tell anyone how to shoot, but why did you switch when the other was working so well? (And is a better set)
Great question.. well in the past the 3v hasn't worked out well.. I practice on my table quite a bit and I typically don't double pitch.. But unfortunately they all snipe me sooner than I hope.. Thanks for the input. I'll practice with other V set combinations and see if it helps... But in the moment looking back I guess I should not have switched my set... For sure!!
@@markthepoint I usually throw the hardway set, but use the 3V when my throw is a bit off. It's much more forgiving when double pitching. Is also a bit better on bouncy tables in my experience. On the bounciest tables I'll actually throw the all 7 set. Got my first 5 point that way. The tables here in Pittsburgh are extremely bouncy most of the time, so I always do better at other casinos Rather than my local ones. Thanks again for the video! You did an EXCELLENT JOB of making this video, showing your bets, putting up the numbers that rolled, hitting one half of the ATS, etc. However, I am going to give you advice that you don't have to take but you SHOULD: The next time you make a pass line bet on the come out roll, and let's say it's $15, put $3 on the Craps bet so that when you DO throw a craps bet, you will NOT LOSE MONEY, and you will actually MAKE money!!! So, in this instance, you would lose your $15 pass line bet but get back $21 from the craps hit and you will make an ADDITIONAL $6 INSTEAD of ALWAYS losing your $15 pass line bet!!! And let's say you establish your point and lose that $3 Craps bet, as SOON as you hit just ONE of your place bet numbers, you're gonna EASILY get back your $3 ANYWAY!!! So my POINT is it is BETTER NOT to lose $15 EVERY TIME than to INSURE your pass line bet with a craps bet!
