First heard of The Warning in 2022 when they opened for Halestorm -have seen them 3 times and they are amazing-Disciple Rocks Live 🎶 -their journey and story are worth checking out -documentaries/interviews-gear rundown -acoustic sets-ALL their music -everything about them is impressive and inspiring ❤️
Check the live performance at the Pepsi Center, it was their 10th anniversary as a band. During that concert they were 23 (Dany, guitar), 21 (Pau, drums), 18 (Ale, bass). They are amazing live!!!!
Since The Warning know how to write songs better than most in my experience, the deserving fans who recognize their talents and abilities will continue to reap the rewards for years and years to come. Cheers
The song “Disciple” explores the dynamics of social media manipulation and the cyclical relationship between those who wield power through ignorance and those who fall victim to it. In the first verse, Dany represents the manipulative forces cultivating hate and distraction for control and profit, while the second verse shifts to Pau embodying the manipulated disciple, trapped in the system and unwittingly perpetuating its narrative. The chorus intensifies this tension by portraying a direct clash between rebellion and control-Dany’s call to “kill the system” symbolizes a revolutionary voice fighting against oppression, while Pau’s command to “remain inside your space” represents the system’s effort to enforce ignorance and compliance. The bridge blurs these perspectives, illustrating the entanglement of manipulator and disciple, where cycles of hate and despair feed into each other. Overall, the song presents a powerful critique of modern systems of control, highlighting the struggle to break free from manipulation and confront the forces that sustain it.
The line is "your eyes will bleed as you stare at the screen" and the end line is brilliant as they say "you shall remain ... inside your space ... of ignorance!" We have all been warned!
I don't know what bands you are doing but suggestions would be: Amaranthe Unleash the Archers Sabaton Halestorm Kamelot Within Temptation Royal Blood Dead Poet Society Nightwish Ayreon Delain Non-English: dArtagnon Skald The Hu If you want a little harder: Arch Enemy Epica Jinjer
Looking for good new bands? Check out Freeze the Fall! And start with their song VHS. (NOTE: warning on the video. It is an homage to horror films....) Some fun facts about them: (1) they are still in high school (2) they just released their 1st EP and are working on their 2nd EP (3) their lead singer/guitarist was inspired to pick up the guitar by The Warning (4) they write their own music....
