I been a Laker serious fan when Norman Nixion and Silk Wilk was my guys. Just everything about the organization with Jerry West as GM. I've been dedicated to the extent that when they played my hometeam the Bulls for the chip, I wanted my Lakers to win. But now LeBron's fingerprints are too often at scene of the crime. Its unstable. The past greats had class. From Kareem to Worthy,Magic and Kobe. Lebron is great and even though I got past his Jerry Curl dancing shhh. But after Udoka said he was spending nights at Diddy's house and he saying, nobody throws a party like Diddy. Fuuuuk Lebron with his batty boy shhh. I wish he leave the Lakers and give us back our team.

There are no better options that would take the job. The Lakers organization is not respected because of ownership and the expectations are unrealistic. This is not as championship caliber roster but has championship expectations every year which is crazy. If they had maybe Trae Young or Paul George ina addition to LeBron and AD they'd maybe have a chance in the west but they don't have the star power or depth to compete with the wolves, thunder, nuggets, mavericks let alone the Celtics.

A lot of former Lakers like Shaq are rooted for the Celtics because if the Celtics win I believe there are the tide or they surpass the Lakers in total championships. That rivalry is still there. I think what the Lakers plan on doing something disruptive if (when) the Celtics win by announcing their next head coach. Now I know this not gonna happen but let's say the Lakers announce their next head coach the same day the Celtics win the chip, Stephen A Smith would be pulling whatever hair he has left out as to what segment they will start First take with. That's how big the Lakers lure is.

Coaching wise LeBron only wins when the coach is focused on the defensive end. I've never seen a coach that had a style or system of offense win with him.
    Lakers
This should of happened when he first got there but either he has to choose to be the PG and be a play maker or pf and be a scorer. He can't do both without being in someone's way. To me you can't get the best out of guys
If he still plays like he 26 and you have 26 yr olds on the team that can't develop as scores or play makers because you won't get out there way so they can get use to impacting the game.

  • @SullyAfgarshe
    @SullyAfgarshe 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

A coaching job should be graded based on the totality of the situation the franchise is in and how much they’re paying v. opportunity cost
The Lakers are an organization that is among the top of the league in terms of profitability for their owners, Jeanie and the Buss family.
They always make money as a franchise because they’re a historic franchise.
NOW the business side of things doesn’t necessarily always bleed into the basketball operations, management, coaching, and scouting
Although the Lakers are a profitable team, they are and have been poorly operated and managed since at least their last regular title in 2010 so 14 years of poor management. I know they won the bubble title but under any other circumstances I don’t believe they would have won. Bron had them so locked in in the bubble and they got hot and made their run. The won irrespective of the overall management.
This is evident because they’ve been hanging by a thread since that bubble title.
They have few assets, they’ve bungled many opportunities to get better as a team over the past decade.
The only major move that has worked out was the trade for AD.
Look at all the young guys that are all stars or key rotation guys they traded away who have had success else where
That is what JJ is walking into. Except you have an aging star to coach and a bad roster with little flexibility.
I guess if the money is good it’s a great job just for the fact that it’s LOS ANGELES
Who doesn’t wanna be in LA with tens of millions in the bank 😂

JJ's going to get hired, to get fired, so all we're going to see is JJ, not have a clue what he's doing, while the countdown clock determines how much times left on his coaching career because once LAL fires him, that will be the end of his career as a head coach, just like Steve Nash, who also had no clue what he was doing, in the most embarrassing fashion = this season should be very entertaining

And JJ will get all the blame for not winning a championship in LA and also for not developing Bronny into the rookie of the year all star talent that LeBron has always told people Bronny was before he even finished his freshman year at USC

I’d say have him become lakers coach just to take him off nba finals broadcasts. Now if they can only find a way to remove Doris Burke. This guy’s commentary is like oh he’s an ethical scorer. Please stfu

For it to be a gamble there has to be something for JJ to lose by taking the job. No one will miss his mediocre podcast and espn takes. He'd be a fool to not take the Lakers' money.

if he was other teams over the last decade since he was fired would've hired him. His offense doesn't translate to todays NBA

Hey Gilbert hey I just want to say what's up and ask you why don't you get those girls that were put on the USA Olympic basketball team women and put them on your podcast and ask them these questions instead of these dumb girls that don't really mean nothing just want to cause trouble and stuff let's find out what the real stars have to say let's find out and hear it from there not from anybody else from them that would be an awesome podcast you know how much views you would get

Didn’t Lebron post something about white coaches with no experience being hired over black coaches with yrs of experience in the NFL? Pepperidge farm remembers.😂

The NBA has shown this ever since LeBron left Miami after trying to get Spo fire and then getting David Blatt fired after making it to the NBA finals in Cleveland. Shit Frank Vogel won a championship with LeBron and the Lakers and still got fired
