Nice mate 👍
Cool
I would like to know how u even tell the difference bbetween all the 9ohs
I was just gonna ask the same question. How do you tell apart the t904, t908, t909, c501, and c509? From close it's easy by the model name written on the side of the bonnet, but how do you differentiate them from a distance?
The differences with the 9ohs are fairly subtle; there aren’t heaps of T904s and T908s around, so I know the regulars, but a lot of it does come down to the T909s looking newer and being much more plentiful, as well as checking the side panel, and sometimes searching rego on the NHVR app if I’m not quite sure.
The C5s look different from the front, a bit higher up hood and body than the 9ohs, and different headlights, as well as battery boxes under the door. One significant difference is that 9ohs all have that long rounded triangular silver Kenworth logo attachment on the sides of the bonnet; the C501 and C509 do not, just the small capital letter Kenworth badge.
C509s do tend to have six fuel tanks, but that’s not consistent, some 9ohs do also. There may be more differences, but that’s what I go with!
@ thanks mate very detailed explanation I wasn’t expecting that
The 50’s have straight bonnets while the 90’s have a slight slant
