      but it is a talk about her and her lab's research in particular though? I don't know what field you're in but in ecology/evolution, these types of presentations are common in conferences, interviews, peer-reviewed literature, and seminars across academia. They are about the work you/collaborators did, with the goal of sharing your results with the broader scientific community-as well as interpreting how your research fits within the theoretical framework of ecology in general-- she did a lovely job of all of that- nothing about this presentation is unprofessional
