Olivia Brown it seems to be a running theme with Lily and Joslyn on the recent episodes of Beauty Break. I commented something like this on the last video where they were trying to give the sound guy hair and Lily was getting annoyed with Joslyn spraying on Root cover up and Lily kept asking Joslyn to stop but Joslyn didn't gaf and kept spraying it all over his head and you wouldn't believe how many hate comments I got.
Joslyn was doing it correctly she just needed to glue the lashes to the rod, Lily just thinks she knows everything

You can definitely go blind getting just about anything in your eye. Perming solution can cause chemical burns (especially in the eye). The amount doesn't matter as much as the potency of the solution does. Rule #1 of eye care should be don't fuck with chemicals around your eyes! Thankfully they didn't get any of the solution in her eye but it would have been awful if they had.
Ok the pink things are also shaping rods and you need to use the neutralizer while the lashes are still stuck to the rods. Also please don't do this again, the entire time I was watching I was praying that she didn't get a chemical burn on her eyeball 😳

Lilly is always negative. She has a better than you attitude. She used to not be like that but now she is.
The "pink things" are silicone pads that you adhere to the lid with the eyes closed and then you put adhesive (or glue) on top of it and brush the lashes up on to it so the lashes are sticking straight up. Then you use all of the solution in the order they say in the instruction :) I do this at my spa that I work at and once you get the hang of it it's super easy to do and makes incredible results!! :)

The pink things are another way to curl your lashes. The rods make your eyelashes more curled because the rod is small and your lashes bend over more. The pink things let your eyelashes bend up so it lifts more than curling. I'm just glad Viv didn't go blind 😅 love y'all 💖💖

I love you guys but this was so frustrating to watch, it's really not that hard to perm lashes yourself but it obviously would have helped if you had done a little research on how to actually do it.
This wasn't even entertaining. I get failing is hilarious, but this wasn't.
Joslyn really needs to step back and stop being so annoying and listen. It's not fun.
You're supposed to glue the pink think to the lid and then a little glue to the lashes then brush them up with a little brush and apply the perming solution the the middle of the lashes.
In case you do any perming again.... when you perm you put the perm solution in the hair (or eyelashes in this case), rinse it off and then apply a neutralizing solution on the hair (or eyelashes in this case) that way the hair stays curly. Then you rinse the neutralizing solution off 👍🏻😎

the pink little tube is in front of lily is the glue. i have this exact kit and it worked pretty well. putting the glue on the rod on both sides to stick to lid and stick to eyelashes worked great. if you decide to do it again, don't put any of the perm to the tips of her lashes!!!!!! it'll overcurl them and her lashes will start to touch her lid. only apply the perm to the root of lashes.
Jesus Christ. I mean I know it's supposed to be funny and stuff but there are literally hundreds of tutorials on TH-cam I looked and a lot of them before I went out and got it done myself professionally and they turned out amazing (they used the same kits)
For real. the tiniest bit of research prior to filming would be appreciated. This is just sloppy and lazy work.

Messing around with chemicals near someones eye isn't something to do "just for fun".. failing once in a while can be funny, but it takes no effort to watch tutorials on these products beforehand. The "haha we suck at this" attitude is getting really old.

i love beauty break and i usually find it funny but this was not okay. joslyn was just messing around and i get she does that every episode but this was somEONE ELSES EYELASHES like if you wanna just mess around she should of just done it on herself instead of possibly ruining vivs lashes!
When I came accross Beauty Break about 4 months ago, I binged watched every episode. I think Lily and Jos, are incredible ladies, very smart, witty and an absolute joy to watch, compared to various others who I just don't enjoy.
For the past few weeks, I feel that the quality of Beauty Break has lowered, as if they have run out of good ideas. I feel so bad saying this, because I bloody know how hard they work, how many hours go into making content. I read so many great ideas in the comments that they could do, to perk things up a little, I feel like they are worn out and need to go to Cabo to regain energy and to get their creative juices flowing again. I would like to see them doing "og BB "testing multiple products and seeing which work, for us, they for me were the best content. Xoxo

Exactly, I noticed a lot lately that she acts this way towards others with the snarky comments and all. She rolled her eyes throughout Joselyn reading the directions like Joselyn wasn't reading it correctly, yet moments later cut to her reading the same thing as if there are suddenly new words. And I don't understand why she never looks into the things she orders, not once. It would only take 5 minutes MAX to read directions and familliarize yourself with the "tools". This show looks as if they go: it's time to shoot, sits down, what are we filming to day, IDK dig in the online box of ordered things and ACTION.

Idk, I think Lilly was trying to read the directions because it is serious to put chemicals next to someone's eye. But Jos was just acting without thinking, Lilly kept telling her to wait a second and she wouldn't. When that happens, in my opinion, there isn't much else you can do but supervise to make sure nobody gets hurt and wait for them to ask for help. 🤷♀️

The pink things is an easier way to curl the eyelashes besides the rods which are pretty hard!! You glue the pink onto the eyelid have her keep her eyes closed! Then glue the lashes to the pink thing! (The pink has different sizes according to how long your eyelashes are find what work for her) Next you use the solution A, let it sit for the time on the box, then once time is up you remove it will a some Cotten NOT a makeup wipe! Then you do the same thing with the other solutions till you are done!!

Everyone thinks that. I'm really just tired of their whole bimbo act. I used to love their video way way back cause they actually cared and put so much effort into the videos. They would Even make repeat videos of the same product if they realised they did it wrong in the first one. I get both Joselyn and Lilys point of view in this. Lily knew they wouldn't be able to get this to work but Joselyn didn't want to give up that easily. I've been in both those positions before and most others probably have too. People are too negative about both these ladies in the comments. It's not their best video but they put out so many videos that they can't all be winners

Those "pink things" are what hold the lash into place... and if you had gotten that chemical in her eye It can cause some really nasty burns... girls please do not use products like this if you do not know how to.... people have to be certified and licensed to apply a lash perm in salons for a reason!!!

Im a beauty therapist and this made a chill down my spine the pink thing is a silicon pad that you stick to the top of the lid glue the lashes to it apply the first solution to the base of the lashes remove apply solution 2 the same way remove usually comes with an oil for hydration remove lashes slowly than remove pad don't get wet for 24 hours
Please be careful with these types of kits, my friend actually lost 3/4 of her lashes from a cheap one she bought on Ebay from China. It only costs about $30 at a salon, or even easier buy a heated eye lash curler. Be safe xoxo

The pink things are a different type of curling rod. I think they're easier personally and it helps to use eyelash glue to stick the eyelashes to the rod so they stay curled when you apply the solutions
the 'pink things' are meant to go under the clients eyes because you don't want to glue their eyes shut. The client is also meant to close their eyes through the treatment because the glue isn't strong enough to support the lashes to the rod. having the eyes closed makes the treatment more visibly effective. For the next Beauty Trippin you should go get Vivian's eyelashes permed professionally and then you guys can also learn how to do it properly.

You were supposed to use the pink silicone things to curl her lashes. You select the right size, put the large side against her lashes, apply glue to it, sticker her lashes to it, then apply perming solution. Tina Yong had a video about getting her lashes permed.

the pink thigs you were putting in your mouth were to curl your lashes. You glue it to your eye and apply glue on top of the pink thing and stick your lashes to it
I usually find beauty break hilarious but this episode just gave me anxiety. No safety precautions whatsoever. I was worried for Vivian's eye the whole time. Come on guys, these are chemicals you're putting near the eyes. You could blind someone!
