For Georgia summers this one struggles. I'll have some upcoming videos upgrading the setup on this one. A few others commented in one of our other videos that they upgrading to a better name brand 6000 btu from Home Depot and it worked great.
Hi Andrew. We have an Equalizer hitch. We have not had any complaints with it. We definitely needed it with the R-pod. With the Freesolo its borderline. If the camper was at the dry weight we may be able to get by but with some stuff in it, it weighs more than half of what our Tahoe weighs. So I prefer having it for sure.
Nice video. Do you leave the doggo in the rv when you go hiking or whatever. I'm thinking about getting this trailer, have 2 dogs. I've never camped with dogs so I'm just looking for advice.
We leave them for maybe one or two hours tops when its warm out. We've went for some longer hikes when it was in the 50's out though.. We want to get a wifi hot spot and a remote temperature monitor before we go longer than that in warm temperatures.
You should rest; you are busy folks and always have a project.

Looks like a very nice trip. What brand sway control/weight distribution system do you have, and do you recommend for your size trailer?

New Subscribers here. We travel with a Yorkie in a very small travel trailer. He sleeps under the only seat in travel.
