Yea, I am waking up to to this like you, coffee in hand, a bowl of fruit and "Back 2 Basic" on You tube! Hot girls, good food cant think of anything better, well maybe me out out there!
Best medication i ever took was subbing to this channel. Ive never kept well, fair enuf but i try and live as much as i can. I will not be defined by my inabilities. Massive respect. Lerwick, Scotland.
These are great videos and so nice to see a part of the world like this still exists. You only get one life, and you guys are grabbing it and getting as much out as possible. Thanks for sharing a little with us lot.
That cliff and gorge country is probably my favourite type of place to fish, with the calibre of the fish that we’re coming out of there it truly is a special place. Awesome series.
I COME FROM THE NORTH. VERY RISKY BOATING ON BIG TIDES.GETING STUCK CAN BE LIFE THREATING. LISTED HIGHS ARE NOT ALWAYS ACCURATE SO GETTING STUCK IS A BIG RISK.
- Glad you guys got out safely with no damage to your boats because those flies on everyones back && face was terrible. How do you *deal* with that !? 🤔 🤮
Woooo Hooooo from Maine. Sunday morning VID-yah for breakfast !! Ohhhh to be there... PLEASE ! i love Maine, but your vid-yahs are makin me want to move brother ! What a spectacular landscape.. with noone around for miles ! Maybe soon i can visit... if i can pull myself away from the lost mountains of Maine... maybe?! Eve sure can fish like a champ ! Cheers from Virginia by the Chesapeake Bay. I grew up catching fish in Florida and later i fished for several years in Costa Rica. That place looks like a great adventure! Thanks for sharing.
Well done guys! Living the Dream! Pushing through all the doubts and getting thru is what a successful life is about! Love watching wild NW Aussie footage, jealous much
Gday m8 Nick from Levin NZ here. Nice video m8 Subed. Course, being a Kiwi, ida taken those motors off and chucked em on the other side of the dam and been home for din dins. Still good on ya cobbers. Kia Kaha cuzies.
Chest deep in water dragging two boats over shallow which ends up successful and in the post operation chat nobody even mentions the croc they had observed earlier. Well done😊
I cannot imagine going through what you 4 have done. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time! So happy you all are back on to your next adventure.
My idea of camping is at the Ritz Carlton, so I don't know why I'm so drawn to your channel week after week! I think the beauty of nature is starting to get to me, as well as the fun that you all seem to be having! Maybe if I keep watching I'll feel inclined to buy a tent and sleeping bag. Or maybe I just start with a fishing pole😜
Absolutely awesome adventure guys. Super inspiring to see you out exploring this amazing country. So much to see for those who have a sense of adventure and passion for this beautiful country. The Barra and Jacks are a bonus 😅 Thank you for sharing. 🙏
You guys are touching people deeper than you know.basic human instincts for survival and modern societal survival are two two very different stories and paths.i know where i belong.many believe Original cultures of this land had it all backwards..i beg too differ.i would argue they lived in heaven on Earth. For a great deal longer than our current existence could even dream of coming close too lasting.not at the rate we travel today..Thankyou for stoking the fire in my heart.my dream.im sure im not alone.tou ll never forget that place..i garauntee it wont forget you guys.respect where respect is due..❤❤❤❤❤.
Hi all, I don't often comment but I thought id let you know this was one of the best youtube Vids I have seen. Genuinely world class! Thanks for the entertainment.
If you are reading this there’s a reason……No matter how good or bad you have it,wake up each day thankful for your life.Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs ❤️🇧🇸 2024 And Beyond ~Marcia~
You crew earn your money! Living the dream, sweating and $hitting bricks. Bet home beds were well loved. Cheers for the laughs, stay safe, have fun! 🍻👍
The Kimberley's are perhaps THE BEST area of Australia for adventure, but the most dangerous, difficult and remote places. Fuel is THE issue. Also, sad to see too many cruise ships going there ( although I do support Aussie tourism ). This is 150% on my bucket list to spend a few months by boat exploring the area. Can't wait!
Loving this series. We were meant to be there last April. But the Fitzroy bridge washing out, then a cat 5 cyclone. We ended up in Nhulunbuy… and got 600 mm of rain over 10 days ( 300 mm in 12 hrs….. in a tent) Hope to explore this country next year. We will be doing it in late April, so I’m guessing all of this camp would be under water. Looks like a great spot tho.
I reckon you guys should bring a polaroid camera with you wherever you go and leave some photos pinned up somewhere when you find a good camp such as this. Also maybe a weather proof notepad that you can record your findings and highlights on then the next people (if they're lucky enough to find such a spot) can write down what they found. So the next time you go back you can check it..maybe the found something nearby you missed 🤷♂️ Anyway, absolutely epic video and series. I would love to spend one day with you guys doing exactly this 💙
From Heather Ross-White.. bugger fabulous that this is just hours ago ..I'm in France near the Loire River, build Koi ponds xxx love your videos my eldest son was an environmental scientist in Quednsland a few years ago
Looks like either short or long billed black cocky but they are only in the sou western corner of WA. Possibly a lost one or the feather may have been bought in
The feather has the lines on it from a juvenile black cockatoo before going red or orange where the white is, but most likely a falcon if white tipped.. or it could be tawny owl maybe. Can’t see the whole feather to really be able to properly identify it (don’t a lot of birds of prey have stripes on their feathers like that)
@BacktoBasics Such an amazing trip and to tick it off after dreaming for so long! We are in the planning stages of our own trip to that area cant wait till its time to head off! Which river is this one defiantly must go on the list.
My favourite channel. Sunday morning in Scotland, coffee and back to basics.
I'm contented.

Nice work guys. Not the worst place to be stranded for another week, if things didn't work out.
Can't get enough of Az and the crew on B2B ❤
Even Malcom Douglass got stuck up there.
Yes Malcolm's boat got all hung up in the big rocks.
I remember that footage. I love the "In search of the Big Barra" series. Still watch it occasionally.

That’s the tail feather off a coucal. You would likely have heard them calling
That cave is the last place I would be in a storm brotha. Great place for a fire and a beer though!
Great fishes little one ❤😂❤😅
What a sick bunch of people ❤
Great mayfrend super ❤❤❤
Sadly, this is something I could never do, as I am allergic to coconut. The few times I had it (before I knew), it was disgusting to me anyway.

I'm sure Jack and Eva would have felt bad, having to leave you behind Az They probably would have offered Nicki a ride.
Absolutely love you all! I thought Eva was miss mud crab? Is she mangrove jack too? Love and hugs from Birmingham Alabama USA ❤😊
She's both! Transferred to Mangrove jack due to the lack of mudcrabs this trip
Good eating, diamond scaled mullet.
Awesome legends thank you, could think of worse places to be stuck 😂😂👍👍
