I've ordered my marconi pepper seeds in yellow and red thanks to your videos. Yours did amazing! If mine produce half as many as yours I'll be extremely pleased. I've been proudly supporting your channel with my very own City Lot Gardening shirt! I absolutely adore it💯❤
That is a GREAT harvest.I planted my Giant Marconi and Giant Acongagua on June 5.My plants are 3 to 4 feet tall, but are pumping out peppers.Next year they are getting planted earlier.
I wish mine grew as nice as yours. Overall, I’m gonna save the seeds and hopefully I’ll have better luck next year. I enjoy watching your updated videos.
Such beautiful plants and the peppers are huge! I watching some of your past videos to gain some insight. I'm amending my beds now for a good season next year! I do not have rabbits, but we have access to some aged horse manure. It's 2-3 years old.
@@murielmorrow4306 when you harvest them save your seeds from the largest pepper and then plant the largest seeds from the largest peppers I go through all my seeds to find the largest to plant and have been doing this for many years and this is how we get huge plants 👍
Awesome crop! I am looking forward to using your soil recipe for my giant Marconis and other sweet pepper varieties next year. They are my favorite vegetable to grow and eat. Going to give Jimmy Nardello’s a try as well…
@@citylotgardening6171 I have so far not encountered any end rot, but a couple that I picked had a bit of side rot that developed when the Marconi peppers were still green. I was hoping that the gypsum will solve that issue next season. My red bell peppers are all rock solid. I really enjoy your videos! I watch them when I have my morning coffee 🙂
The red of those peppers almost glows - they're gorgeous! My 13-year old eats red peppers like apples. Are they sweet like red bell peppers? And quick question - what's growing out of the top of the white tube next to your pepper bushes?
@@vickiblizzard1001 yes they are a sweet pepper with a smokey grilled flavor and they are delicious , the 4 foot tall pipe has a Japanese long carrot growing inside I will harvest this in the fall and we're hoping it gets as long as the pipe thanks for watching friend 👍
