The plagiarism allegations that were against RM were not about songs really. A twitter user complained on twitter saying that RM used his words in one of his lyrics and than another came forward saying the same thing. RM apologized during MAMA 2015, that's what he said about the issue. “First, I sincerely apologize. Even though I just started creating, I am just another creator who experiences a lot of difficulties. I can’t write music through mere internal stimulation, so I take inspiration from talks with friends, books I like, movies, interviews, and letters from fans. I write the feelings and lines that left an impression on me in notes on my phone. Most are erased or forgotten, but after hearing the criticism today I realized that I was unconscious of the mistakes I made. Without knowing the source and not remembering clearly, I carelessly worked only thinking about having to write songs.” He literally just used phrases that really stuck with him and meant something to him, like the sentence he used from that twitter user was "If you lie with loneliness, the bed gets wider” and he built it into his song.

About RM's plagiarism case, he reads a lot and he was inspired by a line of poem so he wrote it down. Years later he saw that line written on his notebook not remembering it was a quote from a poem, so he used it on a line of a song and didn't realize until later, he immediatelly apologized when finding out. (CMIIW) From what i've seen about korean entertainment, you always apologize. Right or wrong. You just apologize bcs you caused controversy. If you don't, you'll be hated. @@TripTipsPodcastalso for the context of this , this accusation happened in 2015 during the night of the MAMAs. So if you watched some fan cams of the celebrity audience you can see how BtS wasn’t that hype as they used to during award shows. And how there was always a member close to him. Also that whole night was a mess cuz BtS got the number one album and the best ranked album internationally but they got a small performance in the corner of the stage ( like not the main stage ) , there were supposed to debut their new song RUN with a dance break , but they had to cut it to just the song , meanwhile a group of the big 3 that just debuted got a longer performance in the main stage. Also since BtS didn’t look like they were “having fun” cuz of I said , they were also receiving hate cuz of that from the fans of the groups performing. Recently one of V that even got into his building apartment got arrested. So yeah it’s really serious. So the better way is to just keep it private. And maybe some members just post some pics of them like RM recently posted a pic with his parents where they were traveling but never from his younger sister, but ofc they will talk about the stories of their families like RM said every year how ironic is that her younger sister birthday is the same day of BTS anniversary.
Not only US, people with crazy minds are evrywhere around the world. They always wct before thinking having no realization of the consequences and hurting others by talking unnecessary things. Some of the idols have always been outspoken about such fans or so called sasaeng fans and are always careful in front of media when talking. About the symbols, 1st circle symbolize broken promises, 2nd circle symbolizes guilt, 3rd circle represents Sin and 4th circle Jin's not combining with other circles as Jin guides everyone looking at them from afar and thus may represent patience. The Wings itself represents the wings of a bird and the concept of the album is that the seven boys experience temptation for the first time and must face it with their strong willpower. The seven boys This album is based on a book called Damian written by a German-Swiss poet and novellist Hermann Hessee.
You wouldn't hear their parent's speaking....they take great pains to protect their family's privacy. Jimin's father has a cafe in Korea. Fans line up like crazy at the cafe on Jimin's birthday and he gives the fans gifts. It's very sweet. J-Hope's sister has a clothing line and is an influencer. Jin's brother had a restaurant in Korea (not sure if he still does) . Mostly the other BTS family members are pretty sheltered from the spotlight.
their families are very private. Even those that chose to have some sort of public life (through IG, etc) hardly even talk about or mention Bangtan. For example -Jhope's sister, an influencer, does not show his face if he's ever in one of her videos
The symbol that u asked, it's from wings cover album. In Wings Album, Every members have their own symbol based on their (fictional) story in Bangtan Universe or BU (JK symbol is a bird feather, Jimin symbol is apple that get eaten a bit, RM symbol the cracked mirror etc). And the maknae lines symbols (JK, Jimin, V) will get integrated with the hyung lines symbol (RM, Suga and Jhope). Only Jin circle is not integrated with anyone, independend as himself because Jin was the main character in BU. You will understand it if watched "BTS wings short movie". But I suggest you watch BU with the order lines, coz wings short movie is a continuous story from HYYH pt 2 story (just type on youtube search "BTS storyline". U will find the playlist of the BU that created by Becky J channel)
@@TripTipsPodcastoh, one thing. If u planning to starting watch BU, the lyrics with the MV didnt have correlation (independent from each other). The lyrics is based on the members life story, while the MV is about the BU story. Even sometimes it get intertwined a little bit 😁
RM's song Reflection is one of his most underrated songs. Wings era was a very special time with their music, Wings is a phenomenal album. A lot of clips from this series are from their Burn the Stage documentary, if you have TH-cam premium you can watch the movie and the 8 part series.

BTS shares almost everything. The one thing they keep separate and private are their families. They will talk about them in relation to their music or write music about it like V did with Stigma in some sense. Jhope's sister is an influencer so you do see her doing her own stuff. But they don't really talk about their families like that. It's like how you hang with your friend and they will ask hows your fam. Once in a while you'll make a few anecdotes but your friendship will be more what you r concerned about.
Good luck getting the tickets for their concerts in 2025. No matter where they performed. They sold out in minutes. BTS tickets are in demand. BTS PTD concert in LA and LV Scalpers try sold them up to US40,000. Because they know the tickets are in demand.
What I love about Bangtan is how they protect their families from the media. I find it soo bizzare that it's not a thing with Westerners and hollywood in general why would an artist even want their parents and close ones identities' to be exposed knowing very well how toxic things could get for them. The fact that you guys even had the thought of hearing from their parents shows how normalised putting celeb families in the spotlight is in the western world and its just sad.
They prefer to keep their family’s lives private and respect their individual privacy. Occasionally they will post pictures, but usually the family faces are blurred out. Army respects their wishes - even when they are out traveling on their own Army will refrain from approaching or taking candid photos. Even when they have entered into the military - Army was asked to not show up. It was only the media who showed up. We all love and respect their true wishes. 💜🌟🫶🏽
I remember being terrified of them coming back to the states. I messaged constantly about the gun threat here, which their security didn't have to deal with in S. Korea, then add to it the rising hate against Asians. Would they take the threat seriously enough and how do you protect yourself against an AK rifle anyway? I did not want them to come.
I think this is extremely exaggerated. If you visit the ghettos in the hood you’ll more than likely encounter violence and shootings. Stay in better neighborhoods and communities and you don’t have these issues. I live in Las Vegas on West side in Summerlin. A upscale community with almost zero crime. Yet a 30 minute drive to either the East side or North East side of town you’ll definitely find plenty of crime and shootings. It’s not as if every community in America has people running through the streets with AK’s shooting everyone. Don’t believe everything the media tells you.
sadly its not safer even though guns are banned in other countries. just yesterday a idol/actor was attacked by a woman with a knife in his dressing room she somehow got in and attacked all the actors/actresses in the room. thankfully no one had serious injuries but it couldve been really bad. also like someone else mentioned theres sasaeng fans which literally translates to stalker. and these fans hide in trees and bushes, follow idols home, steal phone, plane, taxi, train information, spam call the idols, go to the idols work buildings, dorms, family homes, some have literally broken into dorms and homes and hid in ceilings and stalker fans are known for causing car accidents cause they try to follow idols home by car some purposely cause accidents etc its insane. ive seen idols have been poisoned before too thats why so many stopped accepting gifts and fan mail. then theres the stalkers who wait at airports. it used to be somewhat okay but now its way too dangerous so every sane fan agrees no one should go to airports to wait for the idols if they do theyre automatically a stalker cause how did they even find out they would be at that specific airport/gate. then they get mobbed which can hurt the idols. they deal with a lot of BS just as scary and dangerous as guns. armys try to regulate the bad behavior but its almost impossible as theres too many of us now so some crazies dont follow rules. but bts know whos army and whos not i just wish there was better ways to keep them safer. cause even with tons of security its dangerous. recently V and bighit sued a woman who follow V home and went into the elevator with him and gave him a marriage proposal the only good thing was it had her real information so she was easy to find when police went looking. you should react to videos about sasaengs.
Great reaction guys! Thank you! Since they are always working, I too think they just blow off steam and let everything hang loose in between takes, concerts etc. Personally, I think, allowing their inner children to play enables them to work that hard...kind of an unusual work life balance. Probably very healing to their 'past inner child within' as well...a from a very education /hard work structured society. Have a great week!
Hi, I am back. Nice reaction, ty. Another good chapter. A lot of feels. It felt like a roller-coaster of emotions. I almost cried at the beginning. Poor RM and the guys. It's sad that some Kpop fans are so immature. i am glad BTS is different and had each other to lean on. It was so cool to see them talking about their goals and dreams on the boat. They and Army did it. They made all these goals true. Now we have new goals. 🤩 Forgot JK made a cover of that song. Pls check out the original song beautiful by Crush. He is JHope's pal. It's so beautiful. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟
Not sure if you’ve heard yet but since viewing this reaction we just got word that the remaining 4 of BTS are beginning their enlistment ..it’s goin to be tough not having them to interact with…bring on the videos 🙏
The amount of hate they have received from other idol group fandoms for the last decade, saddens me. Not once, have I seen other idols reprimand their fans for spreading hate against these seven young men. I know their companies probably advised them against defending BTS. However, seeing other group idols/artists befriend and respect BTS members makes up for the outrageous hate their fans throw at BTS. Which is one of the many reasons ARMY love BTS and support them sincerely.
@@TripTipsPodcast Same with Suga. His parents did not approve of him doing music or becoming an idol. that's why when 2016 concert and he saw his parents coming to the concert for the first time after 3 years of debut, Suga bowed down and was grateful for the first time that his parents supported his career.
Likewise with Jimin. At first his father hoped that Jimin would work in government or civil society because Jimin was very smart academically. But because he saw Jimin's determination, his father finally supported Jimin in becoming a singer.
Also broke his mic and tore all of his lyrics. Later RM mentioned she felt bad and apologized and is very proud of him. Lastly RM has hinted that he looks like his Mom and Jimin looks like his Dad.
I'd be more afraid for ARMY's with those death threats as I know for myself, if I saw a gun I would go ham on that guy, and I'm an old woman. LOL. I know many would take a hit to keep those boys safe. They are like Princess Diana was. Representing care for others, empathy, and understanding of all. or at least trying to. I feel like they are loved in that special way she was. in a way. There is a video of Jimin's dad talking about it, but no one else. and I can't remember where that video was of Jimin's dad. Army, help! ( LOL). Also, I love you being so close. My son and his father were pretty close too. They did a lot together until my husband got cancer. Our son helped with care for him and was such a blessing to us all. I found BTS as I was struggling to deal with his death. They have helped me so very much.
@DANDJREACT I guess it's just one of those special BTS-ARMY moments that we forever hold very dearly. What is so special is how Namjoon had talked about his very very heavy thought, even death as the lyrics mention... towards the end of the song he sing "I wish I could love myself" - and then ARMY decided to chant (scream) back "we love you" and another concert had "Saranghae" ('I love you' in Korean) hoping he'd feel all our love. One concert later on I think he actually changed his own lyrics to "I guess I do love myself" and "Yes we do love ourselves".

That multiple fandoms simultaneously jumped on RM for something unrelated to their favorite artist literally tells you everything you need to know. To the point of death threats? Sadly it makes me harken back to XCeleste's documentary clip comparing male dominated sports fandoms with female dominated K Pop fandoms. I understand talking about fandom hate behavior is rarely extended to analyzing who in fandoms is involved in the behavior. It is generic fandoms who are accused as if fandoms are not compromised of people. However if one looks at K Pop fandom demographics one can in the vein of XCeleste see where anti behavior may be originating. And when we study the commercial design of the Idol platform as developed by SM Entertainment, it hints at how exploitation of female emotions might have planted the seeds of extreme behaviors. RM using the words on a poet unrelated to K Pop would be a minor footnote just like Biden lifting some elements from a British politician while writing a school thesis. But given how the Idol Platform is designed to hyperfocus female emotions for commercial gain it is a worthy conjecture to ponder where and why this hateful commentary and threat is originating. Simply saying fandoms may be lowest common denominator don't seriously face what's going on thinking.
Hey. I appreciate your reactions but I would even more so if you could pause when you’re conversing…not only is it extremely difficult to hear what you’re saying but also you miss little nuggets of info. While the video continues to play.☺️

About the symbols,
1st circle symbolize broken promises, 2nd circle symbolizes guilt, 3rd circle represents Sin and 4th circle Jin's not combining with other circles as Jin guides everyone looking at them from afar and thus may represent patience. The Wings itself represents the wings of a bird and the concept of the album is that the seven boys experience temptation for the first time and must face it with their strong willpower. The seven boys This album is based on a book called Damian written by a German-Swiss poet and novellist Hermann Hessee.
Thanks for the info
About the symbols I have added the info above. I hope it helps you guys.

This is excellent information
Thank you for the explanation of the circles.
Got it thanks
their families are very private. Even those that chose to have some sort of public life (through IG, etc) hardly even talk about or mention Bangtan. For example -Jhope's sister, an influencer, does not show his face if he's ever in one of her videos
Got it thanks 😊
But I suggest you watch BU with the order lines, coz wings short movie is a continuous story from HYYH pt 2 story
(just type on youtube search "BTS storyline". U will find the playlist of the BU that created by Becky J channel)
Thank you for sharing this with us 😊💜😊💜
@@TripTipsPodcastoh, one thing.
Awesome thanks
The symbols you're curious. Is the cover of their album Wings, 2016.
Thanks
@@TripTipsPodcast For your entertainment you could watch something traditional. Otsukare (traditional japanese) and Arirang (traditional Korean) with BTS members. Worth it!!
Got it and totally understand 👍
Good luck getting the tickets for their concerts in 2025. No matter where they performed. They sold out in minutes. BTS tickets are in demand. BTS PTD concert in LA and LV Scalpers try sold them up to US40,000. Because they know the tickets are in demand.
That’s crazy
Get a faster internet or fly to South Korea to get tickets. It'll definitely be a bloodbath.
Those circles are designs for the wings album

What I love about Bangtan is how they protect their families from the media. I find it soo bizzare that it's not a thing with Westerners and hollywood in general why would an artist even want their parents and close ones identities' to be exposed knowing very well how toxic things could get for them. The fact that you guys even had the thought of hearing from their parents shows how normalised putting celeb families in the spotlight is in the western world and its just sad.
No that’s not sad. It would be interesting to hear the families perspective on their careers and success as well as their early struggles.
That’s nice
Oooh that’s a good idea. I didn’t know it was dangerous there to.
Well said. You do the same 🙏💜

We’ll have plenty of BTS content to keep the ARMY occupied until they get back in 2025.

GOD bless.
These guys are so sweet and humble the fact that people talk bad about them shows we are doomed as a society.
The travel clips are from bon voyage there are 4 seasons

Wow that’s sad

I’m glad to hear BTS helped you through such hard times. Hope you are doing better 💜🙏
Sorry guys BTS parents and siblings no interview at all that’s why BTS parents were proud of them BTS they’re protecting their parents and family..
I see.
I'm sorry you talked over RM's reflection song. It just bothered me. I normally don't complain but please pause when you can
Sorry about that. We will.

Oh ok awesome! Thanks!
Very well said
Not true lol. I’m pretty sure if you put in some effort you can get them for a reasonable price if you know how to stay in queue 😭 iykyk!
