You can only go so deep in playoffs running the option now. Teams score a bunch now. North Lincoln did well against a the 3-5 defense that is not effective against it. Congrats to the kids at North Lincoln. They are well disciplined and very tough.
@DanWessonSpecialist Yes Hickory beat them last year, it does not have any bearing on this year. I am hoping for a rematch this year. I like both teams. I knew coming into this year there was a great chance of a rematch. But I also know 71st has a much easier path in the east. I thought it was going to be another Hickory vs Dudley western final. The fact West Charlotte won so easily over Dudley at Dudley has me concerned that Hickory may lose. But I'm hoping for a 71st vs Hickory rematch.

But Hickory’s QB has a cannon and is cool as the Artic ice. Hickory will not stop West Charlotte much so Hickory must score on each drive.
