Never, ever cheat on your wife, especially if she is a strong and fierce lawyer! (ETA)Also don't cheat with said lawyers husband. They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I say hell was terrified, ran and hid when OP and Sandra got scorned by Ashley and Rob.
@Stewburn22 No one should cheat and I have ended friendships, male and female, due to their cheating. But, my comment is in reference to this story in itself. The husband was pretty dumb cheating on his wife as he had to know she was a fierce lawyer.
@PaulWeezy50 Nope, correct story. Yes, Ashley cheated on OP. But her affair partner, Rob, was married to Sandra who is a fierce lawyer. Sandra knocked OP out of his state and brought his fight out. Sandra knew exactly what she had to do to annihilate Ashley and Rob.
Well, well, well...I see that OP left out the part where, as they walked out of the courtroom, everyone (including the judge) stood up and applauded, followed by the Chief Federal Prosecutor taking them to lunch with the Mayor to celebrate their victory before heading to Harvard to get an Honorary Degree.
And everyone, including Ashley's 10 cousins, great great aunt, childhood friends from 20 years ago, the librarian the next town over and a guy who shouts about the end of the world on the busy corner started blowing up OP's phone.
Too many creative writing by the new gen seem like written by a 16 yo. Now tons of 'true crimes ' channels are popping up and likely written by AI with AI thumbnail and very intriguing titles like affair with step children.
Eh, I just have them as background noise to pass the time while working, I treat them as 99% fiction and maybe 1% of them are true but idk either way as long as they are amusing.
What an incredible turn of events! It just goes to show that sometimes justice really does prevail in the most surprising ways. Can't wait for the next update!
Thia story was so good I found it unfinished on Tik Tok and had to find the end… I even went on Reddit google everywhere 😂 love it one of the best one I have listened a while
How is the Trust structured, I’m assuming the Trustee can add and remove beneficiaries and determine distributions to beneficiaries. I’m also assuming the Trust owns all assets. Is it the case there is a Pre Nup that blocks Ashley claiming Trust property and pre-marital assets? I’d love to have a copy of the Trust Deed.
I think ashley was mostly talking about all the money her and rob had already taken out of the tryst, more than the money in it. But yeah I wonder how it was supposed to work.
This was believable right up until "Sandra" asked a complete stranger to not only look after her daughter, but allowed him to stay in her house at night.
This story built up to OP and Sandra getting together some time in the future. Emily will be the catalyst for that happening once the divorces are finalized. I think Sandra sees how important Emily trusting OP to protect them is for healing Emily's trauma. So she let OP stay over at her house several nights. You don't do that to a just an acquaintance you just met. Once you regularly meet someone at home in a family setting then anything can happen. Time will tell. Since these hints in the story are so obvious I wonder if the story is true. E. g. like Sandra fooling Ashley into believing she's OP's new girlfriend or how she shined up OP's home and straightened him up when he had neglected his hygiene. You could expect this from a close friend or family member. Not from a complete stranger. Even more telling this story is fiction is that Sandra called OP to look after her precious daughter Emily while she had to file a restraining order at the police station. No sane woman would let her child be left alone at home with a strange man. Emily had never met OP at this point. Sandra didn't even introduce Emily to OP before she left to calm her down from seeing him in their house. This doesn't sound real.
Your points of contention of it being a fiction are not as strong as you think as plenty of people would do that and have done it (worse) in circumstances like this. Plus who cares if it real or not if it’s entertaining and doesn’t affect anyone as the names are certainly changed.
Great story! Even if fiction. It would make a good movie. In the story, I guess when OP's parents added her to their trust fund, there were stipulations such as Ashley staying married to OP and Ashley never having an affair. I guess Ashley never read the fine print concerning the trust fund.
How come all of these stories lately are about Girly Men who are confronted with their wives cheating on them and just step aside for the AP to walk past them.
Well, no. "Erin" is a derivation of "Éireann" - which is the genitive form of "Éire" (Ireland). "Aaron", on the other hand, is a "probably" hebrew name that became popular in jewish families in the middle ages (the exact origin isn't known; it's believed to be a derivation from "aharon" = enlighted). You are correct, however, that "Erin" is used almost exclusively for women; men usually only have it as a middle name (which is not gender specific anyway; a classic middle name would be "Maria" - which is obviously not a man's name).
Ashley was a ghoul, she saw an opportunity to get rich and played the part of the wifey type to perfection, her only problem was, she tied herself to the guy with a vindictive wife, who also happened to be a lawyer. Ashley was playing checkers, while the cheated on wife was playing chess. OP should not feel bad for Ashley, because she was the one playing him like a Stradivarius, only to find out that she ended up with a cheap copy. He should rub it in, not feel bad, because she never loved anything but the idea that she was going to be rich.
Right? My name is Erin with an E, and in my 40 years, I've NEVER heard a MAN who spells their name that way. It's AARON for a male. Yeah, that definitely made me feel weird🫤 EDIT: It's pronounced the same way with either spelling.
According to wiki there are some men with the name Erin. 321 boys had the name Erin in USA in 1974. Erin Henderson is a US American football player. Erin O' Toole and Erin Weir are male Canadian politicians.
"Erin" and "Aaron" are 2 completely unrelated names. Erin (which indeed is a female name, only used as middle name for males) is a gaelic name and means as much as "Ireland's" whereas "Aaron" is a presumably hebrew name, meaning as mch as "enlightened" (it's etymology "could" be egyptean as well; the exact origin is uncertain between these 2 options).
If there's an update we need the conclusion. Best story I've seen in a while.

@@Stewburn22omg chill.
@Mama_Bear_of_3 I think you're commenting on the wrong story. The WIFE was cheating on the main character of this story too.

This is a pitch for a lifetime movie

This story shows that the cheaters hurt far more than their partners. That little girl has been scarred for life.
Block Ashley.....Divorce her give her nothing!!!!!
She thought he was a pathetic simp. She f'd around and found out.
These weren't friends, those were gold diggers.
Also, why wouldn't OP have a key to his own home?

And did they get together
Wait is he with Sandra now? Are they a thing?
That's how 90% of these stories work out. The wronged spouses end up falling in love.
we will know when the Hallmark movie comes out.

I bet op wife is going regretting on her husband and now she has to deal with the consequences of her actions in life

Good
The male version of the name is Aaron. The female version is Erin.

Not true. I know a male “Erin” in real life.
Op n Sandra must get std tested, otherwise good luck to them

I can’t find this on reddit, does anyone know the username?
this was just some random story..
Guy finally figured it out. Yeah stop overreacting
"Erin" is a 30 male? Not Aaron? Good story, but of af all the things that never happened - this never happened the most.
maybe, maybe not.
The thing about really smart people with power and money, they sure know how to exact revenge.
Really common pronunciation of the name in the USA, see criminal minds for a famous reference of the name said like it
