yet we only put up 28 while turning the ball over in critical situations resulting in a pick six and fg. ppl think that maiva is some savior, he’s not. as long as josh henson is here and as long as lincoln doesnt run the ball at least 30 times a game (not counting the qb) we are gonna be a 6-8 win team every yr plain and simple
@@blessembreaks We ran the ball 31 times today (passed 35). I don't know why you want to not count QB runs. When you have a running QB, you use him as a runner.
Woody went off today because the defense was scared of Maiava running. They weren’t crashing down like usual. Was it perfect? No. Was it good enough to win? Yes. Maiava still has more upside
USC has averaged 150 yds per game on the ground this year, almost 20 more than their opponents in the supposedly big boy conference. Let's see more of that.
It was one start. People didn’t think Jayden would fix all issues with USC. Conner continues to make this false argument. Ohio St, the #2 team only scored 21 in a win against Nebraska so settle down.
Michigan benefited from a USC game. Minnesota benefited from a USC game. Penn St benefited from a USC game. Maryland benefited from a USC game. Washington benefited from a USC game. USC benefited from a Nebraska game.
What is Connor talking about wanting to separate and fewer turnovers and a win? Dude the most important thing was the win and Miss couldn’t deliver on those game winning drives. I don’t care as long as it results in a win. Connor should just transfer with Moss.
Word. Jayden played really well considering he hadn't played a game in nearly a year and he hasn't been in the program for three years like Moss. The offense had way better rhythm today than the past two months. Jayden made plays with his arm and legs, pushed the ball downfield and led a game-winning drive - all of which Moss couldn't do.
Guys... Pick a better spot to do your post game analysis. The constant noise from machinery is really kind of ridiculous considering the size of the Coli.
That Conner dude is so negative! Maiava and offense played well. Turnovers happen,, but you overcome them and pull out a win. WTH is this guy talking about?🙄
Jayden played good, he just needs to protect the football but I think he’ll get better we’ll see against fucla ✌🏼 we best fucla I’ll feel good about notre dame
Maiava needs to stop running with the ball like it’s a loaf of bread. He was decent, gave the opposition a challenge when he ran with it. He had good arm strength
You guys sound dour. Did we not watch the same game? Yeah, Maiava made some critical errors but he bounced back and you can see Riley's play-calling has changed dramatically -- the triple option was a thing of beauty with jet sweep, dive, and QB keep. Woody Marks got his best output against the 12th-ranked run defense! Biggest problem on offense is now a lack of a good tempo; right now they're either a little slow or a lot slower and their go-fast takes 10 seconds off the clock.
The big ten tempo is set in the trenches. It's like playing Stanford every week. Riley starting to realize that. Don't try to force high scoring shootouts. Big 10 is best conference right now and USC had played them all tight with no depth
We must win UCLA to save face, get our bell back, and go to a bowl. Cutting down those stupid penalties means instilling discipline, which this team sorely lacks.
Jesus Conner, who 💩 in your breakfast? Yeah, nobody expected ALL of SC’s problems to be solved. That would insinuate that Miller was the only problem. It was a win. It was a step in the right direction. It was a good first win for Maiava. D played great. Take the W Conner. She’ll call back.
lol I’m sorry but the first few minute segment makes the rest of this unwatchable. Miller Moss has had this team in the same exact situation in all nine games he started. Team with the lead, at the end of the game. Miller ran in a touchdown last week. The only difference between this game and the five losses, the defense held the lead. It’s that simple. This is first year defensive rebuild and they are drastically improved from last year. Despite what you narrative pushers have to say, this program is on the rise. And the Miller Moss scapegoat disrespect is ridiculous. This team, for all ten games, is exactly who they are. Fighters, who are growing and will continue to get better and better and close out games.
Could any contract attorney speak on an article i just read. Due to recent ncaa sanctions, usc can fire riley without any recourse aka payout per the article.
I’m finding it’s getting harder to listen to Connor. Dude just seems like a downer. I don’t expect him to be a “sunshine pumper”, but holy smokes, dude, let's lighten up a bit. 😂
Did you guys do a terrific job on these post game breakdowns. But, I have to tap out when it sounds like you’re in the middle of a construction zone. Obviously it’s not your fault but it’s just unlistenable tonight. I guess you can chalk this up to a guy getting older pets grumpier. Lol
@@SportZFan4L1fe True 2 that! Our defense was no slouch, they stood tall. Man, Bear's departure continues to impact the D. I hope we add Wynn with Boucard plus a healthy Carlon, should generate pressure up the middle.
You guys need to get better production values on the sound with all of that noise going on behind you before you release a video to the public. That's kind of amateur hour.
Miller would’ve delivered us a much bigger win. Time to cut ties with this severely overpaid, glorified offensive coordinator we call head coach. This team is DONE winning in 2024.
Ppl should listen to Su’a and other ex-players analysis of Jayden’s play, watching NE marching down in a breeze in last min can’t happen again, clean up the bonehead penalties, continue to improve on all 3 sides Connor always has a p-o face when talking about USC 🥱
Gonna miss Woody Marks…what a dawg!!
I think the simple presence of Maiava makes us much harder to defend.

Agree. Opens up more passing opportunities because they have to watch the qb run.
True he was fine not great but I'd hard to defend big potential
100% agree.
Jakheem Stewart and Husan Longstreet were at this game...good vibes with these 2 with a win against Nebraska! Fight On!

Only 10 points giving up by the defense. Please get 5 star DL and LBs

The biggest difference was Maiava was able to finish the drive at the end and was with his leg.
Also miller push the ball down the field we had few balls that went past 20 yards
No. The difference was our defense kept Nebraska from scoring at the end of the game.

Nebraska has a really good defense. The USC offense never did great under Miller Moss. I think Jayden has alot more ceiling
