I had colon cancer stage IV and had chemo. I did not lose my hair but did lose weight. You are very tired and the doctor told me to listen to my body. Rest when I need to. I’m cancer free now.
My sister went through a very difficult abdominal surgery and she's still having a lot of health issues, she went back to work not long ago, she has lost a lot of weight to the extreme she had to get Botox on her face and neck , all her skin was hanging , so yes, do what you gotta do when you go back to work!!!! And she doesn't have to go explain a thing to anybody, thankfully. Such scrutiny is not even funny, let Princess Kate heal, let her take care of herself on many different levels you have no idea!
I had chemotherapy 5 years ago for stage 4 Lymphoma. I was given 2 months to live if I didn't have it. After being clear for the following 5 years, I now have Leukemia, so back on chemo for a second time. Whatever Cancer Kate has, it is her decision to tell. It is her battle. I believe that the love shown to me during my ordeal, was what helped me through, so therefore, please give Kate the same, it really does help.
I feel for you. My son had leukemia and he was having his round of chemo. After a while he was getting tired of it, And I felt sorry for him. So, I made a decision and advised him to change his diet. He did, and after a month he went back for his regular check up, the Dr was surprised and just simply asked him if he changed his diet. He said yes. The doctor encouraged him to continue with that, and after 6 months, he got better. Today he is completely healed. I hope you get better soon.
It’s none of Piers’ business! He’s one of the media personalities that shares in the responsibility for bullying her into revealing her cancer diagnosis in the first place! Princess Catherine did an amazing job on Saturday. Yes, she’s had Rolls Royce medical care, and why not? She’s a senior Royal! But if she’s been dealing with a gastroenterological issue, it must have been major to have required surgery. That alone would have been something, but to have found cancer and having to be treated for it is incredibly serious and words can’t express how awful it’s been for her. But to have found the strength to do what she (and the King, of course) did on Saturday, while I know she probably would have rather been pottering about at home, is to be lauded and not criticised in any way. Well done, Princess Catherine and King Charles! I can only wish you both continued speedy recovery!❤️

As many thousands of other cancer patients do, my cousin has only weeks to live and he is continuing to work from home at the moment he is also continuing to visit family and friends while he’s able to do so, they are different because of their public service. They’ve only shared their illnesses because they are always at risk of someone leaking the story, which is why Kate shared her diagnosis because someone from the hospital staff had leaked the information to the media thankfully the royal family were informed and that is why Kate shared her information, to this day I think that is disgusting because they absolutely should be allowed to have a private life, if she was becoming really sick then and only then should the information be shared.

Throughout this episode, I’ve wondered how much of Catherine’s decisions were based on her Diva attitude. I recall my own experience in the menopause years, when like many women, I had major surgery. I tried to max my perks for this leave, like not returning to work right away, not being available for work at home. I would even refuse calls from my employer. So, who am I to blame Kate for wanting a long break from work?

I had breast cancer at 38, when my children were 8,5 and 4. It’s terrifying. You are facing your mortality and looking at those little loving faces and scaring them to tears. You have to put on the strongest show and just cry into your pillow late at night. You don’t get to do what you want as far as rage into the universe and primally scream, WHY? WHY ME? WHY NOW???? You just want to see and help your children grow up and maybe even be lucky enough to meet your future grandchildren. All of this to say, there is a lot that you go through emotionally and it’s incredibly hard. Talking about her like this is STILL bullying. Piers you are bullying her to share her diagnosis. She should be left alone. It was a wonderful gift from her to be at Trooping. We should say thank you to her , tell her she looked beautiful and then move on.

You people have no idea! I was Kate's age with four children under 8. Chemo is tiring. The younger you are, the more chance of recovery - Sometimes. We all compare ourselves undergoing chemo. I was near death - but recovered. Lance Armstrong was winning the Tour de France and the rest of us compared ourselves. My chemo was Strong, white cells under 1, and there were good days and some really, really bad ones. Leave her alone. Just leave her alone. And when you get sick, because most people do have health issues eventually, just remember all the stupid shit you said to others when sick.

Piers I had cancer at the age of 17. I'm proud to say I am a survivor but I cannot forget how the chemo made me feel and the few years battling cancer wiped away part of my youth. I'm now in my sixties but when people ask me what type of cancer I had I freeze, more than often I change subject or just ignore the question. Every one is entitled to have privacy especially when it's medical related. Let's wish our princess a speedy recovery praying she rides through this hard ordeal and gives her time. When it's all over she may openly talk about, if not we just have to accept and respect that.

Yes, most people with cancer are obligated to continue to work, take care of family, cook, clean, etc. Some get varying amounts of help. Catherine has more help than most but SHE has to spend hours that we don’t-hair, full makeup, wardrobe planning in advance, less-than-comfortable clothing, heels, hat, jewelry, & who knows what else. I suspect it can take hours to get ready for a 15-minute appearance. She can easily be exhausted long before it is ShowTime. Please give her a break.

He treated both boys the same, but, you don't see William writing books or interviews with Oprah or Netflix series about his dad. My dad used to beat us all till he drew blood and we couldn't get up and walk away. He never bought us clothes, toys and very minimal food. He never took us anywhere and treated us like slaves. And we still respected and loved him. I never knew how dysfunctional our family was until I grew up and was exposed to other families. But we never spoke bad of him, we just did a whole lot better with our kids and spouses, they got the very best of us, lots of love, food , clothes and understanding. Harry was very spoiled and they covered for all of his bad deeds, drinking, partying doing crazy stuff and that is why he is such a mess today.

I've been devastated by cancer with my father, I don't care what cancer the king and princess has but I totally proud of how they are dealing with it, definitely in my top ten of heroes, I'm definitely not a royalist but they represent the British and what we are all about and with them 100%
I remeber my Gp telling me that type of chemo the hospital were going to give me would be very tough. I thought bring it on at the time im a strong cookie. Half way through it, it crossed my mind that I couldnt carry on any further, but I dug deep and did it. A year after all the treatment I wasnt the same person as before., my Gp was right. Catherine needs time to heal and adjust. Im proud of her it takes guts with the Worlds cameras on her.

The kid I think Catherine has actually lost a considerable amount of weight .She was always slender but fundamentally strong and now she looks fragile . I hope over the next few months she makes an effort to regain the weight she has lost .

My sister went through a very difficult abdominal surgery and she's still having a lot of health issues, she went back to work not long ago, she has lost a lot of weight to the extreme she had to get Botox on her face and neck , all her skin was hanging , so yes, do what you gotta do when you go back to work!!!! I had chemotherapy 5 years ago for stage 4 Lymphoma. I was given 2 months to live if I didn't have it. After being clear for the following 5 years, I now have Leukemia, so back on chemo for a second time. Whatever Cancer Kate has, it is her decision to tell. It is her battle. I believe that the love shown to me during my ordeal, was what helped me through, so therefore, please give Kate the same, it really does help.
I feel for you. My son had leukemia and he was having his round of chemo. After a while he was getting tired of it, And I felt sorry for him. So, I made a decision and advised him to change his diet. He did, and after a month he went back for his regular check up, the Dr was surprised and just simply asked him if he changed his diet. He said yes. The doctor encouraged him to continue with that, and after 6 months, he got better. Today he is completely healed. I hope you get better soon.

Princess Catherine did an amazing job on Saturday. Yes, she’s had Rolls Royce medical care, and why not? She’s a senior Royal! But if she’s been dealing with a gastroenterological issue, it must have been major to have required surgery. That alone would have been something, but to have found cancer and having to be treated for it is incredibly serious and words can’t express how awful it’s been for her. But to have found the strength to do what she (and the King, of course) did on Saturday, while I know she probably would have rather been pottering about at home, is to be lauded and not criticised in any way. As many thousands of other cancer patients do, my cousin has only weeks to live and he is continuing to work from home at the moment he is also continuing to visit family and friends while he’s able to do so, they are different because of their public service. They’ve only shared their illnesses because they are always at risk of someone leaking the story, which is why Kate shared her diagnosis because someone from the hospital staff had leaked the information to the media thankfully the royal family were informed and that is why Kate shared her information, to this day I think that is disgusting because they absolutely should be allowed to have a private life, if she was becoming really sick then and only then should the information be shared.

I had breast cancer at 38, when my children were 8,5 and 4. It’s terrifying. You are facing your mortality and looking at those little loving faces and scaring them to tears. You have to put on the strongest show and just cry into your pillow late at night. You don’t get to do what you want as far as rage into the universe and primally scream, WHY? WHY ME? WHY NOW???? You just want to see and help your children grow up and maybe even be lucky enough to meet your future grandchildren. All of this to say, there is a lot that you go through emotionally and it’s incredibly hard.

We all compare ourselves undergoing chemo. I was near death - but recovered. Lance Armstrong was winning the Tour de France and the rest of us compared ourselves. My chemo was Strong, white cells under 1, and there were good days and some really, really bad ones.

Piers I had cancer at the age of 17. I'm proud to say I am a survivor but I cannot forget how the chemo made me feel and the few years battling cancer wiped away part of my youth. I'm now in my sixties but when people ask me what type of cancer I had I freeze, more than often I change subject or just ignore the question. Every one is entitled to have privacy especially when it's medical related. Let's wish our princess a speedy recovery praying she rides through this hard ordeal and gives her time. When it's all over she may openly talk about, if not we just have to accept and respect that.

I’m on cancer treatment for the third time,I can assure you chemo is brutal,my heart goes out to Catherine and it’s none of our business what kind of cancer she has,being a nosey Parker is a most unattractive quality
Yes, most people with cancer are obligated to continue to work, take care of family, cook, clean, etc. Some get varying amounts of help. Catherine has more help than most but SHE has to spend hours that we don’t-hair, full makeup, wardrobe planning in advance, less-than-comfortable clothing, heels, hat, jewelry, & who knows what else. I suspect it can take hours to get ready for a 15-minute appearance. She can easily be exhausted long before it is ShowTime. Please give her a break.

I have had cancer and I am glad that she has shared what she has and knowing others are doing well is hopeful for me to see. Lay off her and anyone who has cancer. Everyone deals with it in their own way.

He treated both boys the same, but, you don't see William writing books or interviews with Oprah or Netflix series about his dad.
My dad used to beat us all till he drew blood and we couldn't get up and walk away.
He never bought us clothes, toys and very minimal food.
He never took us anywhere and treated us like slaves.
And we still respected and loved him.
I never knew how dysfunctional our family was until I grew up and was exposed to other families.
But we never spoke bad
of him, we just did a whole lot better with our kids and spouses, they got the very best of us, lots of love, food , clothes and understanding.
Harry was very spoiled and they covered for all of his bad deeds, drinking, partying doing crazy stuff and that is why he is such a mess today.
Princess Catherine was radiant. The support, prayer and well wishes as well as cheers from all who turned out in the rain, was a huge contributor to that sparkling smile and incandescent honesty captured on camera.

I've been devastated by cancer with my father, I don't care what cancer the king and princess has but I totally proud of how they are dealing with it, definitely in my top ten of heroes, I'm definitely not a royalist but they represent the British and what we are all about and with them 100%

I remeber my Gp telling me that type of chemo the hospital were going to give me would be very tough. I thought bring it on at the time im a strong cookie. Half way through it, it crossed my mind that I couldnt carry on any further, but I dug deep and did it. A year after all the treatment I wasnt the same person as before., my Gp was right. Catherine needs time to heal and adjust. Im proud of her it takes guts with the Worlds cameras on her.

If you work and must take leave you don't have the luxury of privacy. You have to disclose. Is a Princess so far above the working people she serves? That doesn't seem right. Of course she shouldn't give too many details but disclosing her illness would help create awareness. It would surely save lives.
